  1. I disagree. I think the masses will eventually transition over to the 1st full appearance like almost every other 1st full vs cameo situation. The cover is what sold CM 17 2nd print and the shilled garbage on ebay but I doubt that will keep it on top forever.
  2. rzipp65 decided he wanted to buy one of my items and not pay. I opened a non paying bidder case and heard nothing from the buyer until one hour before the case closes. rzipp65 sends me a message that states he will pay eventually but needs more time. My cases I have set to automatically close so I send him this message and here's his response.. I blocked him and feel like it was justified especially considering there was zero communication until the last minute. I'm usually willing to work with buyers on payment but lately I've had a ton MIA.
  3. Just checked Ebay. Only 2 BINs available for the Hans Variant. ALL others sold. WOW
  4. Missed your post or I would of picked one up last night.
  5. Not anymore. Tried to pick up a copy and all sold out.
  6. I wouldnt buy it for a buck even if god signed it Definitely in my top 5 of ugliest covers of all-time..
  7. Is this a decent read? Thought about picking up the tpb to see what it's about.
  8. I am sure it also contributes to the USPS going in the red every single year. I know we would all be screwed if the USPS ceased to exist or didn't provide free priority packaging anymore. Just pay for the Priority Mail service or use old boxes that came to you, diamond mailers, Uline boxes/mailers or something else if you are going first class. They're actually not in the red every year. They were in the red a couple years because Congress forced them to fund their workers pensions for the next 40 years. No company would turn a profit having to do that. The post office makes money hand over fist and don't let anybody tell you different. I've worked for them as a second job for years and the least of their worries is the materials in the front lobby. They wouldn't offer the materials if they didn't want them to be used. A lot of people go with USPS because of that fact. I don't know how many times I've delivered a medium flat rate box that's covered in newspapers so they don't have to pay priority rates.
  9. I always thought the storytelling in the older valiant stuff was awesome. Maybe I'm in the minority. I'm not a huge fan of comics into movies but I will throw some money at those movies because I enjoyed the stories. I mean, how could you not like immortal bada$$es??! Missed the point? He didn't comment on whether the stories were good or bad, just that the stories did not suddenly get better in the past 4 months. I got the point but I think it's a mixture of movie hype plus it's nostalgic to others. "Hey I really loved those stories as a kid let me go buy them again." The movies, for me, just reminded me of how much I loved this hobby when I was younger. Not all buyers are speculators.

  11. Don't have my CGC 9.8 SS anymore but I do have a 9.8 blue label I got back from cgc about a month ago. Kind of regret selling my SS but it's in good hands
  12. I'd put money that book doesn't come back a 9.8. It's a sweet copy but not 9.8
  13. Quick question.. Been in the market to purchase The Infinity Gauntlet 1 in cgc 9.8. I've noticed most copies I've seen in hand have top and bottom corner issues on the spine. Is this a printing defect or was cgc just lenient with grading the copies I've seen?
  14. Just sweet talk Paul747 and while you're at it tell him to sell me his new mutants 87 9.9 also..
  15. Thanks for sharing Astoria! Good article. And as for the price guide whoever's selling at those prices
  16. Bought two books off of 'operationcomicbooks.' Was selling a lot of higher grade copper/modern stuff and decided to take a chance. Its been 2 weeks now(March 25 sales date) and no books, no communication, and sellers feedback has now been turned to private. Doesn't look good.
  17. I missed the boat on this one as well. Had the chance to buy a stated NM+ copy early last year for $350 but passed on it. I might get a low grade copy later down the road if prices ever fall.
  18. 'coasttocoastcomics' is selling bad books on Ebay. Bought a listing that was stated as a '9.8' received the book and it was at best a 9.0-9.2. I contacted the seller immediately and told him what the issue was. He offered a partial refund which is a joke. I refused and said I wanted to return the book for a full refund. He initiated the return process. I returned the book and once tracking showed the book was in the sellers hands a claim was put in against me that stated I destroyed the book. Ebay for some reason immediately ruled in the sellers favor and I had to call to speak with a manager to get my money back. Avoid this seller at all costs.
  19. this was the best email to start my day off with... thank you so much Tim!!!! im still kinda in shock and seeing my name on an Enormous poster if so awesome... i think all future issue should include that Congrats! Glad a boardie won it.
  20. What? What does this have to do with anything? Not hard to make monsters.
