  1. I'm shocked that there was no narrative, with a mind-numbingly long market pricing analysis, coupled by personal anecdotes of each copy his owned and sold
  2. You might need more light so the camera can pick up more image? Edit: sorry, saw that Scrooge already pointed that out.
  3. Pov, you make a good point about assumption. Because I will hold a book during discussion via PM if someone asks me to, my perception when I read Biorupp's terms was that any would trump a discussion via PM. Someone else may have a different POV.
  4. Since the seller clearly ( ) states " trumps any and all PMs" I took that to mean any discussions via PM, while you take it to mean any via PM. Since that portion of the description is not clear it's up to interpretation. What is clear is that the seller did not specify that an " on the thread" trumps all other posts, so any by default trumps all...it trumps discussions, and it definitely trumps any other whether by PM or on the thread. Furthermore, the seller himself (who is the QB of his own thread) gave it the gold stamp of approval when he stated to Green that the item was Sold!
  5. Love you Pov, but I disagree. via timestamp is the most logical in my books. The seller's inability to manage the thread is what caused this problem. When the seller said "Sold!" that should have been the final word...even if not everyone heard it. It doesn't say anything about the "I'll take it" having to be posted in the actual thread - it just says that the first one posted gets the sale. And as Green was the first to post the "I'll take it", the books are clearly his  This. (thumbs u You did not clearly specify in the thread rules that an on the thread takes precedence. Furthermore, I understand you were busy packaging people's wins but that doesn't take precedence over you managing your thread. I'm not picking sides, the sides have already been chosen by the rules that were laid out by the seller and the seller's statement of "sold". Once Green met your demands and you PMd back "sold" the deal was done. Handshake complete. Papers signed. No turning back. Those are the hard facts. Anything else is just smoke and mirrors.
  6. Although technically not a military comic, this is a fun thing to see. There is some writing on the top of the book that reads "Tucson Ariz Sgt. Tom Dino Souvenir Oct 1943".
  7. A few lower to mid grade GA books. 3 to be exact. Rangers #14 in 5.5/6.0 Rocket To The Moon in 2.5/3.0 Superman #14 restored/cover detached/last page missing. Enjoy!
  8. Gang, I'm going to list a bunch of nice Silver and Golden Age books including some classic Good Girl Art covers, Marvel and DC Silver Age keys and some filler stuff. Every thing is raw/ungraded but I will be conservative with the grades and list any hidden defects. Hope to do it soon (tonite) or tomorrow late morning/afternoon at the latest.
  9. not just a habit, it is his modus operandi (thumbs u Yup, nothing wrong with it. It's just the way he does things.
  10. He has a habit of doing that. Buying a book and putting it back up on the market asap.
  11. Log into your ebay page in the "sold" section and you should have a notification that you can click on with detailed info on how long. (thumbs u
  12. Eric when I saw that book I knew you were going to win it. Long time coming! Congrats!
  13. I have to say that books like JLA #1 and B+B #28 are really heating up. I've had so much interest in my JLA #1 CGC 7.0 copy on eBay that it took me by surprise. R.
  14. Please keep us informed..so I can go after the bastid next. I woke up to an email stating he has paid in full. Ditto. Paid me for the DD #6 CGC 9.6 from the beginning of October. He's now paid in full over here. I just kept pressuring him with emails. Heard from another boardie that he's owed money for months now.
  15. You know, of all the eBay books that I have listed I would expect JLA #1 to get the least action but that book has gotten more emails, offers and views than almost any of my other books. Amazing what a draw that book has. R.
  16. Just got an email that he'll be paying on Monday.
  17. Oh, I sent him an email last week telling him his late payments were unacceptable and sent him another email today asking where my money was. The guy is a tool.
  18. I'm so tempted to email his friends but he isn't doing anything unethical that is harming anybody else. He's just being a dink. I think Scott opened up a whole new can of worms with his last crusade.
  19. So is mine. Is it the adsahakian1 account? I just sent him a nice, firm email through facebook.
  20. He told me the delay was because he had unexpected legal bills. I just filed a NPB claim with eBay. Dirtbag.
  21. They cut my toes off and tortured me. That's me getting them back for it.
  22. Thing is that he paid for one book. Really strange.
  23. WOW! Well maybe we should all send something to Ebay about this. Does your Armen list his location in PA or NY? State College, PA.
