  1. John is nice to sit at a dinner table with. I think he will be easy to deal with when the time comes.
  2. Dave is a great person to deal with. Bought a book from me and it was seamless.
  3. Mike is solid. Trustworthy person to deal with. especially when he's holding a chainsaw (thumbs u
  4. Paul has bought some books from me. Pays on time and easy to deal with. (thumbs u
  5. Frank has bought some books from me. Pays on time and easy to deal with. (thumbs u
  6. You mean the books I gave you for free cause you didn't want to pay shipping? Oh, yeah. Those.
  7. You call waiting 7 months for a book slow shipping? You may as well walk it to me. Oh yeah, you did.
  8. Fudge, I forgot to order the English language version. Maybe we can translate it into Southy for you?
  9. On second thought nevermind. Because assuming the date you joined the boards is just a coincidence, I'm going to feel like a real *Spoon*. There's a guy who's been banned from the boards 6 or 7 times now under the names AlleyBat, BucOne, WaltT, and I believe JH1 (unless I'm confusing shills now.) I think his last few usernames have been a first name and last initial. He used to make a lot of short posts, usually ending in "?"s. I'm pretty sure his latest shill account was banned the day before you registered. In any event, the guy is a complete dirtbag and a known criminal. Just about the lowest form of life you're ever likely to meet. CGC keeps banning him but the next day he usually comes back under a new name. Hopefully this time he decided to crawl back under his rock for good and actually STAY banned. In which case I'm an for even mentioning anything and I sincerely do apologize You can't be too vigilant when it comes to this guy though because after padding his post count he has tried on several occasions to use these boards to steal from other board members. To this i'll add sending Sharon a nasty PM. This is something WaltT was also famous for. (sending board members nasty PM's) Did anyone else get nasty PMs from this "gentleman"?
  10. And for those who have Designer Toast on ignore, this is what Zaid said: Can someone email me this message through eBay? I have everyone on ignore. Thanks in advance.
  11. Something is definitely broken inside you. I'd just spend every penny you have on comics then.
  12. Yes, the Gen. Rommel flag and his size are hilarious. I didn't know that yellow covers are so popular. Yellow covers are faves for a lot of people! (thumbs u Any particular reason for that or is it just the color? BTW, # 9 is the first yellow Human Torch cover I think that Yellow just elicits a favorable reaction out of a lot of people. It's a strong primarily color, it's very bright and positive feeling. Our sun is yellow and we are all alive because of it. Maybe that has something to do with it.
  13. Yes, that hole is reserved for his marriage license. Or it's replacement.

  15. Unfortunately, I passed on that copy. Was spent after Chicago and picking up a collection and would have loved to have snagged it. From what I remember it had nice paper quality as well! Very, very nice!
  16. I've seen the that you've done with a single syllable. Does that mean that if I read it, it ends up being a sentence? Get it? Sentence? Arf! Arf! I kill myself.
  17. You know...some of you guys are just d-bags. And I mean that with all sincerity. When I started that thread about Filter81...He suggested I do it as I was making a large purchase and recently joined the forum. I didn't know anyone on here and to make me feel comfortable making a multiple thousand dollar purchase he suggested I get feedback on him. I'll continue to ask for feedback on sellers on here and will expect that the helpful people will continue to provide guidance. Those who like to think they have attained some grand master status because of your tenure or post count can blow it out your arse. Just because someone is new to this forum, doesn't mean they need to be chastised every time they ask something that might have been asked before or is obvious to you. If that is the case, go create a closed forum so all of you who don't like "noobs" can sit around and play circle jerk. Mark, part of the problem with asking questions often is that the answers often times have already been posted here over the past 8 years so getting to learn how to use the search engine on this forum can answer a lot of questions without having to ask them again. For those that have been around a few years, seeing the same questions asked over and over can be a bit monotonous. Granted a nice point in the direction of the search function is probably more polite but not as much fun on a Friday afternoon. For instance, you can simply do a search on a forum member's name and with that search you'd probably be able to get an idea of whether they are trust worthy or not after a little reading. A post by Gemma on how to use the Search function. Anyhow, Cal is a trustworthy seller. Good luck!
