Lots of eye appeal. With the tape and strip missing, Overall I'd go with 3.5, unless there's interior brittleness.

I don't know if it's the scan or not, but the inside cover looks to be unevenly trimmed on the right side.

I bought a Planet 48 from Jeff. He's easy to work with and transaction went flawlessly. Will gladly deal with him again. Welcome aboard Jeff.

I mean just a search of completed auctions on HA sorted by highest first, limited to Sci-Fi Genre makes a better list
1. Planet Comics 1
2. Captain Flight Comics #11
3. Weird Science Fantasy #29
4. Contact Comics #12
5. Weird Science #14
6. Weird Science Fantasy Annual #1
7. Space Adventures #13
8. Superworld Comics #1
9. Famous Funnies #213
10. Weird Science #12 (#1)Much more timely list. The Overstreet list is seriously out of date.

Awesome accomplishment in completing this long run Joe. I gave up a few years ago. Still remember all the Bethlehem books I bought from you through CBG. Some are still highest graded.

The guy complaining about high prices is the same one who had a restored 8.5 FF #4 listed here for $3700. Last legit sale of a restored FF#4 was $2550 in April 2019. I guess it only goes one way.
. Great thread as always Rick.

STRANGE WORLDS #8, 1952 in 4.5. Classic cover shows a giant robot working out his issues with the ladies... and man, does he look pissed. Kubert and Kinstler interior art complete this fun sci-fi book. Glossy, vibrant copy with fairly minimal color-breaking wear. The last GPA sale was $528 for a 4.5, but this book has generally sold much more aggressively in recent years, with a handful of 5.0s averaging $968 last year.
$600Back:

Funny, intermission at the concert I'm at. Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald.

This has nothing to do with Brock's transaction, but I bought a B&B 54 CGC 7.5 from this seller and the transaction went flawlessly. I hope if the book was truly lost, it shows up and the seller completes it with Brock as that's the ethical thing to do.
