  1. Watched it last night, it was decent for a pilot. Though I thought the cape bit was a little cheesy but I guess they want something to tie back to Supes. Brainiac was the highlight for me, also liked Seg and Adam Strange. Show has some potential, kind of reminds me of a poor man's Game of Thrones.

  2. I think they have run out of ideas for new characters with new power sets, so the only thing left to do is smash em together! All New All Different Spiderverine #1! Collector's Item! Kids make sure to get all the variant covers too!

  3. @Mercury ManSorry for your loss on the 181. :frown: Hopefully you get some good karma with missing out plus the flat tire. I know I have certainly stumbled over nice finds here and there in the 4 years since I got back into comics.

As for Craigs List, I've never had good luck usually its "buy your comics" and over priced drek ads. I did mange to once buy some comics off a CL ad. The dude was a bit shady and his wife/girlfriend was beating one of their kids in the other room. I payed for the comics and got the hell out. Does anybody conceal and carry (or other protection) when doing a CL transaction especially for potentially large transactions? I've heard a lot of horror stories over the years.

  4. While I agree the Claremont/Bryne run is the best, everything up to and including AoA is pretty decent. I dropped around 350 if I recall. Since coming to comics back I've read Morrsion's run and that is really good. Other later X runs I've like are:  Whedon's Astonishing X-Men, David's X-Factor, Cable/Deadpool. I've also heard that Spurrier's X-Force is good too.

    Hello,

ive bought a full set of both dc rebirth green lanterns and dc rebirth Hal Jordan and the green lantern corp.

    my question is:

can I read the full set of green lanterns then Hal Jordan?

or, is it required that I read one then the other every month?

    thanks

    Welcome Malavin!

You can read both of the Rebirth Green Lantern titles in any order you wish, they don't really cross over. If you enjoy Green Lantern, I recommend reading all of Geoff Johns run starting with Green Lantern Rebirth mini series from 2005 and goes all the way to 2013 ending with the Wrath of the First Lantern crossover. It is a lot to read, but epic. And if you want some older material you can check out Emerald Dawn and Emerald Twilight they will give you some back ground on the various Earth based Lanterns, but mostly with Hal Jordan, though some of it is covered in the Johns run. Good Luck.

  6. I picked up both the midnight variant and the lenticular cover. Read it over the weekend, I thought it was pretty good. If Johns can keep it up, I think Doomsday clock can be fairly well accepted sequel to the Watchmen...but let's be honest it will never be the real sequel due to the lack of involvement from Moore and Gibbons.
