How many comics can you think of that advertised the creative team? Especially prior to books including the creators' names on the cover.

Nobody had heard of the characters, but everyone had heard of Kirby.

Are there any good examples of this flipping? The only thing that comes to mind is perhaps X-Men 94/GSX #1, but I think they were both pretty even a few decades ago.

I was going to suggest Ghost as spec for CGW since it had Adam Hughes art, but the covers aren't special. The later Dodson covers might get some attention.

The problem with any of the Comics Greatest World books is that there are far too many of them, as they were only $1 when they were released, and the hobby was already in full speculation mode. So there is more than enough to go around of the weekly dollar issues. For there to be any value there, I'd say it has to be a graded 9.8, or graded with SS. The Dark Horse Presents book may have some room to grow

There are a lot of What If issues to mine for ideas to make into a reality in the main continuity. Bunch of first/only appearances of characters in that issue.

That was pretty much the situation on the eve of the '90s collapse. People were so busy pouring money into the *next* big thing, that no one was spending money on the books already purchased exclusively for re-sale.

Plenty of the content on Forbes isn't particularly well-informed or timely. It's maybe a step better than clickbait. Scanning this briefly, there doesn't appear to be any new info.

Agreed. I called eBay regarding the listing I mentioned recently. I was still out the original shipping (there's no way to avoid this, apparently), but they removed the feedback and reversed the decision on the "not as described" complaint

No details yet. That's why it's speculation. But the original plan a few years back was for 2 Bloodshot movies, 2 Harbinger movies, and then a crossover.

DMG tweeted this yesterday: Of course, the first appearance of Faith is already pricey. The first appearance in the relaunch is already sought after by fans because it's the first Livewire. But there are a few potential Faith issues that might be worth looking at.

My hunch would be the highest ratio variant, followed by the next highest, etc., and then the A cover amongst the order-alls. But who knows. Appealing cover art *can* make the regular cover more desirable than an incentive. Whether it *will*…
