it took me a few minutes to find out the dealers name and ive reached out...now I'm waiting for a response...

well i SHOULD have said something being at least 90% sure it was complete.i had bought from him earlier in the day and a few hours after i left i walked by and saw the book in question.

on the back of the book it had a note "missing centerfold" i asked if it affected the story he opened it and said it didn't look like it affected a story. then he handed me the book and i counted the pages. i later got home and used digitalcomicmuseum.com and confirmed that it was complete AFTER i bought it.

I was at a show a while back and came across a book that caught my eye. I asked the dealer if i could see the book. it was a golden age book and on the back was a note "missing centerfold". 9 times out of 10 i walk away, but this time i asked if the missing centerfold interrupted the story and he opened the book and he looked through it and said "it does look like it is missing the centerfold". so he handed me the book and the first thing i did was count the pages, and to my surprise it had 36 pages. so i put the book down and was talking with him and checking mycomicshop.com for a page count and they said it had 36 pages. IVE never seen mycomicshop.com to be wrong on page count so i bought the book WITHOUT telling the dealer that i was 90% sure this was complete. when i got home i used digitalcomicmuseum.com and went page for page and it is complete. so my question is was this unethical of me NOT to tell the dealer? I've told dealers before that their book was missing pages, cutouts that they missed, and ive also told dealers that their book WAS complete when they had it marked "missing centerfold or pages". this has been eating away at me for awhile and ive asked a few friends and dealers and ive got their opinion (mostly one sided) but id like to get a sense of what this community has to say. was i wrong? should i find the dealer and make it right? or let it go as a great find?

Hello Ladys and Germs HeHe! Its been awhile since my last EC post I believe maybe my 1st of 2019 but I might be wrong. Ive spent the last month and a half reading Stephen Kings IT... its now my 2nd favorite book ( behind animal farm). There were a few times that I thought King was referring to EC Comics, like one of the kids who went missing initials we're E.C. (Eddie Corchen maybe) and he mentioned "Horror comics" when the kids were young in the 50s so it could be... Another reason I haven't posted is I've been on a NO comic buying till C2E2 ( crypt convention entertainment extravaganza) But I have come across 3 EC books that were ether a no brainer or I needed to get it for insanity sake. I won't post all 3 tonight only 1. I had a EC collecting goal this year of a few books and 1 came up which is one of my favorites from the HBO show and that is Carrion of Death SHOCK SUSPENSTOIRES 9!!!! When this particular book came up it was removed from a thread for not following guidelines, but I contacted the seller and got it!!!! As much as Ive been wanting to own this issue it now makes me happy....NO NO NO SAD! Although the HBO show was better, the story is still great and it fills in that place where my "heart was supposed to be" HeHe HaHa!!!!! Now I must warn all who enter that this book is a "9.8" compared to most of my hideous treasures and I know Ive promised that Id only show the grotesque of my horror show but the price was only a "toe and finger" HeHe HaHa UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!!!!
