  1. Wow! I love the cover of the reissue! Not to mention the awesome interior work. Of course, the original is pretty good as well. I'm going to have to read this story. It's a Ray Bradbury tale with which I am completely unfamiliar. What a backstory, too. I wonder if Leigh suspected just how gifted Bradbury was? Thanks for this post!
  2. From Beyond the Unknown-that's a new one to me. Was this a comic that only did reprints or just on occasion? A very nice Nick Cardy cover on the reprint, From Beyond The Unknown #24.
  3. This is an incredible copy! How old is this book? It looks like you bought it off the rack yesterday! Is that really Frazetta?
  4. I don't blame you. I'd have bought it too. But just looking at it makes me afraid of my basement.... Thank you! (thumbs u I really liked this one when it came up in the last Clink auction and managed to win it.
  5. Hey thanks for the information! Vampirella #1 (plus various stories in Creepy and Eerie) As far as Skywald, one of my favorite stories is "Hag of the Blood Basket" from Nightmare #4. But this isn't the magazine forum.
  6. Uncanny Tales looks like a pretty cool book. I will have to check it out.
  7. Thanks for posting this, too! Awesome! I've been fascinated by this guy since I was a little kid.
  8. Anyone know when Hawkman got his new look? When he got rid of the bird head and wings and donned a simple yellow mask? I seem to remember it being rather late in the Golden Age
  9. That's news to me. I don't even remember Skywald. What did he do for Warren?
  10. So do I! Treasuries rule! Some classic art... oh, childhood nostalgia. loved this stuff and those giant treasuries!
  11. Great copy! I've heard many different opinions about the beginning of the Silver Age. So was it this comic or Fantastic Four number one? What do you guys think?
