  1. One of the sales is in the ballpark. Kind of. But definitely not if you throw in shipping to the US. Another one is pretty high, but not crack head high. The third one? Yeah, either it isn't legit or that person is very dumb.
  2. Do you mean for your house or a store/selling situation?
  3. The only thing missing is the "order in the next ten minutes and we will double your order. Just pay a small processing fee" offer.
  4. I would assume asking for pictures would be a good idea just to verify. I guess this does raise a question though. Is it worth it to send a relatively low dollar book international? If you have to eat shipping charges you lose big time.
  5. Looks like they created a new listing instead of changing the old one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VAMPIRELLA-1-1969-Comics-Warren-Publishing-/184399411444?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  6. The listed has been "corrected" to remove the grade.
  7. It worked!!!!!!!! The condition and grade have been removed from the submission.
  8. I bet you thought you knew what a 9.0 looked like. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VAMPIRELLA-1-1969-Comics-Warren-Publishing-VF-NM-9-0/184399320358?hash=item2aef0e5526:g:9MUAAOSwiUdfNKBm
  9. You have got to be kidding me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VAMPIRELLA-1-1969-Comics-Warren-Publishing-VF-NM-9-0-/184399320358?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  10. Funny timing. I was getting a case of wine delivered yesterday by FedEx that needed a signature. Ran out for 5 minutes and of course missed them. They left a note they would try again today. By the time I got to the door today after they rung the bell the guy was already in his truck. So 50/50 for FedEx.
  11. I agree this is a bad situation for a seller and there is nothing more they can do, but its not great for a buyer either. Imagine buying a book and it never gets to you no matter what the delivery service says.
  12. In this week's episode of smoking crack and posting on ebay....... https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn=nightimelover&LH_PrefLoc=&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=frazetta&_sacat=0
  13. I wonder if the USPS tracks claim like that by delivery person. Could be a nice little side business.
  14. The guy is definitely being a jerk. Now that doesn't mean he is lying and maybe he didn't get it or someone stole it.
  15. @steveinthecity Thanks. I had no idea that was a thing.
  16. I thought about going. But honestly I thought there would be a lot of pressure on buyers since there weren't that many at a time. Seems like it would have been a bit uncomfortable.
  17. I'm the guy on the zoom meetings that adds nothing at all but makes sure to say good work to everyone so they remember me.
  18. I do wonder about signature required these days in general. Is that being enforced?
  19. You talking bugs or comics?
  20. I remember the first few slabs I ever bought. I was thinking clearly these have been messed with as I can almost pry them apart. Nope.
  21. I did not know that. I certainly don't think the OP was trying anything nefarious, but people definitely get very protective (rightfully so) of information like this.
  22. Not bad. You just don't find copies in the wild for this cheap anymore even if the condition isn't great. They even have a few Frazetta covers.
