One of the sales is in the ballpark. Kind of. But definitely not if you throw in shipping to the US. Another one is pretty high, but not crack head high. The third one? Yeah, either it isn't legit or that person is very dumb.

I would assume asking for pictures would be a good idea just to verify. I guess this does raise a question though. Is it worth it to send a relatively low dollar book international? If you have to eat shipping charges you lose big time.

Funny timing. I was getting a case of wine delivered yesterday by FedEx that needed a signature. Ran out for 5 minutes and of course missed them. They left a note they would try again today. By the time I got to the door today after they rung the bell the guy was already in his truck. So 50/50 for FedEx. -

I agree this is a bad situation for a seller and there is nothing more they can do, but its not great for a buyer either. Imagine buying a book and it never gets to you no matter what the delivery service says. -

I thought about going. But honestly I thought there would be a lot of pressure on buyers since there weren't that many at a time. Seems like it would have been a bit uncomfortable.

I remember the first few slabs I ever bought. I was thinking clearly these have been messed with as I can almost pry them apart. Nope.

I did not know that. I certainly don't think the OP was trying anything nefarious, but people definitely get very protective (rightfully so) of information like this.

Not bad. You just don't find copies in the wild for this cheap anymore even if the condition isn't great. They even have a few Frazetta covers.
