That's my point. Don't allow a yellow label to even be printed if the signature section isn't filled in. "if no signature section information, error. Do not print".

This is an example of CGC just proving they don't care. You can't tell me its a big fix to put some kind of parameters around printing a yellow label with no signature information filled in. We've seen this type of mistake for years. If they cared at all they would put a fix in.

I expect a new CGC announcement shortly. They have identified the bad batch of magazine inner wells and have stopped using them immediately. Even though they weren't causing any damage. And they definitely won't pay to fix them.

Its certainly a lot easier than fixing the inner wells.

I've lost count now. How many times has a statement been made that the wells causing the issue are not being used any more? Has to be at least three times now.

I apologize if this was covered already. So back in May you posted that a batch of warped inner wells were identified and removed from production. Are the inner wells you are mentioning now (the one that was stopped a few weeks ago) the same issue or are these two completely separate issues?

It wouldn't be shocking if they were using up the bad inner wells. Its just a numbers game. I'm assuming dealing with complaints (or not dealing with them as the case may be)is far cheaper than throwing out a lot of stock.

For the first time in a while I was going to submit some books at the show in Baltimore. Just can't do it now. Maybe next year.

This was always going to be the outcome. Anyone who thinks they were going to admit to an any degree of damaging books was just being delusional.

I've never sold a book in my life anywhere. I don't get insulted or mad when someone overprices their books. I just move on. I still enjoy going to shows even if I don't buy very much. Get see lots of cool books. Talk with cool people. I'm just not going to make a bad financial decision because I'm at a show.

I don't mind paying a small premium to buy at a show. But I'm talking about maybe 5-10% at most. I don't care about how expensive it is to set up at a con. Or how much you paid for the book. Just don't care.
