I believe if you get the two disc set of Fire and Ice the second disc has Painting with Fire. That might be a cheaper option.

As long as I know about it I'm good. I would love to find some keys I want with some so I could actually afford them.

I've had this for years. Was never sure how to display it and I was always nervous about it. At my LCS today they these plastic frames and it hit me that this would work pretty well.

Not often I find this type of thing at my LCS.

I think I have 6 of them. Not superheroes though. I couldn't resist when I saw they had Conan the Barbarian and Red Sonja. I think I added John Wick and a few others. I saw they just came out with some Dune ones that I will probably get. But I never paid more than $10 for one and I certainly would never consider it as some kind of investment. My daughter likes them and has quite a few Harry Potter and Stranger Things. But again, nothing more then $10 each .

He was certainly never going to get his fees reimbursed. Even the best protections aren't going to give you more than you paid for the item. Did the credit card make him send the item back to the seller?

For those that say he should contact CGC, what exactly would they hope CGC would do? Reimburse him the cost he paid for the purchase?

Sucks for the OP. Terrible situation. I will say I would never be in favor of a seller having to take a return after a book has been cracked out. You are not getting the item back in the condition you sold it in. And of course could absolutely be abused.

Without question I think your books are more valuable. The question is how much. If I had to value your books I would say to me probably between $2,000 and $2,500 each. Obviously just my opinion. Personally unless the book in question is a bit more of a grail (Vampi 1, Weird Science Fantasy 29, etc.) I think the vast majority of the value is the sig alone.

I think that is a very fair price. Probably doesn't help out cstojano.
