  1. I'm going to be really annoyed if its the same weekend as Chiller Theatre.
  2. I'm on the fence. I ususally go to Bill's shows, but this is the first time he is doing this one. And usually its $3 to get in. He says the show is full, so I'm sure there will be a nice selection.
  3. One more thing I forgot. Some kid on a bike tried to rob me. I was walking back to my hotel and had a plastic bag in my hand. He rode by and tried to take it from me. Thankfully I had a good grip on it and held on. Him and a few other punks rode away.
  4. Picked this up at a show this weekend.
  5. Went to a very cool show this weekend. Chiller Theatre. All things horror. Tons of magazines, although it was more the movie type like Movie Monsters and Fangoria. Managed to find a few I wanted (there was plenty more, but wasn't what I really went for). I highly recommend it to anyone who is into horror stuff. As a bonus, Lori Frazetta had a booth set up. Got to talk with her for about 30 minutes. She is so nice. Got some nice stuff from her.
  6. Came across this in Baltimore and thought of this thread. I didn't buy it, but very cool.
  7. These were all at one booth. $5 for any magazine. Had boxes of Creepy, Eerie Skywald and other stuff. This is why I love this con. And almost every booth had some mags. From one box to ten. Not that many wall books though. And a shockingly low number of Vamp 1s. I figured they would be all ove the place.
  8. On to the mags. First one was courtesy of @Murphman13. Gave me a nice deal. I did a good job filling in my runs and not picking up duplicates for the most part. Also picked a lot of Conan run fillers as well and some other random non magazine/non vampirella stuff.
  9. Some more vamps. First one was they were signing at the con.
  10. The Baltimore haul. I was very excited when I heard Nathan Szerdy. Got a few nice comics that he signed. Even added a few bats to the one. Had a good ten minute conversation with him. Really nice guy. I'm thinking of having him do a commission for me. Very reasonable prices.
  11. A few non comic notes. We made the drive in really early to avoid the marathon traffic. Got to Baltimore around 7am. No problems at all. We had breakfast at Blue Moon Cafe. I highly recommend it. Try the captain crunch french toast and the swee baby jesus eggs. Had dinner at Blackwall Hitch. It was a pleasant surprise. Very good food and reasonable prices. Stayed at the Pier 5 Hotel. Overall a very nice hotel in a great location for the inner harbor and not that bad for the con. Only downside was we got unlucky with our room. The room itself was very nicem, but it was directly next to the ball room where they had a wedding. The DJ might as well have been in our room. We ended up getting a free night stay out of it.
  12. While his sig itself can be considered art, there is no bad Frazetta sig. Its still him. The master.
  13. Full disclosure, there was a guy following around Wonder Woman handing out cards for her stripper shows.
  14. There were tons of magazines. I'll post some pics later.
  15. Heading out. Man it is early.
  16. Hitting the road at 5 am tomorrow. There is a marathon in the city tomorrow so trying to get in early enough to avoid that mess. I'm on the fence about doing a CGC submission. I might wait and see what I pick up.
  17. If a "lowball" offer is accepted was it really a lowball offer to begin with?
  18. Whoever started this thread should get some kind of finder's fee.
