  1. So this seems a bit overpriced. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vampirella-1-1969-Commemorative-Royal-Blue-Edition-Limited-to-100-RARE-VF-NM-/263881215447?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  2. The goal is to replace that folding table with a nice work table with enough room underneath to hide my short boxes. There definitely wouldn't be enough room for all of them. I'm trying to keep that wall clean to not detract from the slabs. I have tons of room so it should work for now.
  3. Maybe I should put another row of the smaller shelves.
  4. Making some progress. My original thought was to have all custom built shelves on this wall. Putting that on hold for a bit. The wall to the right of this is going to have a work/sorting area. My home office is to the left of this wall.
  5. However you want to parse words. He bought a shady product.
  6. It would be an interesting experiment to send in books you know had very specific issues and see if they got caught.
  7. I never mentioned court or lawyers. I'm just talking about looking out for yourself. I also disagree with your assessment that the buyer exercised due diligence. They paid a lot of money to a shady company to begin with and then didn't document the aftermath.
  8. It goes to common sense and protecting yourself. If a buyer isn't willing to put some effort into looking out for their own best interest then so be it.
  9. I'm too lazy to go back and look, but did the OP say they were aware of PGX's reputation? Personally I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars without doing some research.
  10. Buyer took a shot and lost. Personally once he sent it out to CGC he lost all claim from the seller. A question this brings to mind is what is to prevent someone with a copy of a book missing pages from buying a slabbed copy, cracking it out and then replacing it with your damaged copy and asking for a refund?
  11. Tough crowd. I figure someone would want these.
  12. Will be interesting to see where this end up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Creepy-Magazine-Lot-Warren-Publishing-Frazetta-Iconic-Covers/392091844960?hash=item5b4a7ec160%3Ag%3AloUAAOSw3D5bX1Pl&_sop=10&_sacat=0&_nkw=frazetta+-plate&_from=R40&rt=nc
  13. I always end up with some stuff I don't really need so figured this would be a good idea. Feel free (no pun intended) to use this thread to offer anything up. Epic magazines. These are definitely reader only copies. #1 the cover is barely attached. The others are a bit better. US only as these are definitely not worth paying high shipping.
  14. I tried when they first went up. I thought we were close on one and it just didn't work out. I'm happy with what I ended up with (from another seller). I assume at these point it's just a way of attracting attention and just hoping someone is willing to pay a huge price.
  15. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vampirella-1-CGC-SS-7-5-Signed-By-Frank-Frazetta-/113182083054?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 And for the record it looks like there are still 4 books left from my original post over 2 years ago.
  16. Hell yeah. Love that cover. Funny enough I just bought one on ebay and then the guy told me he couldn't find it.
  17. I can't find my Frazetta Definitive Reference. I'm guessing the info is probably in there.
  18. I don't know about all of them, but some were definitely drawn just for Warren.
  19. That is certainly a nice incentive for the buyer to make his payments. Definitely sounds fair.
