  1. How is it that before the show opens you have so much room in the boxes? More than you need, it looks like. What's the philosophy and procedure there?

I know I pack some excess stuff in the front of the boxes so when it goes up on the rack or wherever it belongs, voila instant room in the boxes for browsing to begin.

I use bubble wrap to fill air space. Like folks to have room to shop!

Such a good idea. Nothing worse than a long box so tightly packed you can barely pull something out let alone skim through them.

  2. Very cool thread. Longboxes must be more sturdy than I thought. Looks like you put quite a bit of weight on them in the van.

I bought the heavy duty van...can carry 5000 pounds... the gridwall set up is 800 pounds...we usually have 400 pounds of passengers...cgc boxes are about 800 pounds so I can take about 3000 pounds of long boxes, or 51-60 depending...I can fit 3x6 rows, 3 high (or 56) and a few on the side for support...

I wasn't very clear. I meant the weight you had stacked on top of the longboxes.

  3. Sounds like you both made mistakes. You messed up on the condition of the book and he messed up with his final acceptance.

Think of it like this. He could have demanded you come up with another book in the grade you said the book was in. I think if he then came to the boards and complained he would get the same advice you are getting now. Just everyone return the books and move on.

  4. So frustrating that Sideshow is capitalizing on the DD show popularity to continue to solicit the PF DD. They delayed this thing several months and now it appears that they did so just to build support after the TV series. If they're successful, it'll likely mean more delays.

Nah. If they had them and could get them out, they would because they don't have warehouse space to spare. 90% of their pieces get delayed. Never take the initial shipping date seriously.

I add 6 months to any pre order and then hope I'm not disappointed.
