On another topic, can ComicLink auctions be tracked on CAT?
Unfortunately no. They blacklisted CAT. Which is quite funny, considering that I initially created CAT to be able to follow ComicLink auctions because their website was so... well...

Good news indeed. I updated CAT just before the daily email, I'm glad it worked.

Safari is a . There, it's said!
Chrome and Firefox display pages with 5,000 or 10,000 elements without any problem, but Safari starts to struggle as soon as we exceed 500 - 1000. I'm trying to find a solution for Safari users, but it will probably require imposing limits on the size of lists.

I understand that when there are different sources, but if it from the same US version of eBay?
Even in this case you can have it listed twice on CAT, as I consider the Buy-It-Now option and the auction option as two different sources (with two different prices). So yes, when Anthony's listings are updated, you can have the same piece listed 8 or 10 times on CAT.

If @Rick2you2 is talking about what you're referring to, that's right that I can't do anything. I can identify relistings, because eBay gives me the information, but as far as I know these "duplicates" are just different items.

I seem to be getting a lot of duplicates in the scans, even with the same price tag in the same market. Didn’t they used to be removed, more or less.
Could you be more specific? By PM if you want.

When will Premium be available, Nico?
I would like to first fix the few bugs found (especially with Safari), and test the payment process with a few users, before rolling it out for everyone. Early May being always a busy period in France, with a lot of days off, it will probably be around mid-May.

Is there a way to filter out all the porno images, and crappy "commission" type drawings?
As @JC25427N answered (hey you have a really funky dark mode, first time I see CAT with these colors :-D), you can use the exclusion list to blacklist some keywords, but as I wrote in the user options it has to be used with caution as it could also filter out some art you're interested in. For instance, let's say that you excluded the word "print"... if some art has a description such as "this is not a print", or "original art for a print", it will be excluded as well. From my personal point of view, I prefer to retrieve too many items and filter them visually than to risk letting one slip through.
Maybe in a later version I'll be able to use AI to filter items, but whatever the solution there is always a chance to filter out something that should not be filtered out...

Hello everyone!
I'm pleased to announce the release of a new major version of ComicArtTracker!
Over the past 8 years, CAT has grown far above my expectations to serve a community of over 16,500 members worldwide, now indexing 370+ sources and having sent over 1 million email notifications in the last 12 months. Sustaining, maintaining and continuously improving CAT is a pleasure, but it also requires significant time and resources. That's why I'm finally introducing premium accounts with this new version, which will allow me to release long-time requested features while helping cover the associated extra-costs of servers and third-party services.
ComicArtTracker v4 introduces several new features and improvements, including:
- Improved performance and ergonomy: Enjoy smoother navigation and faster response times for a more seamless browsing experience, with a focus on mobile navigation.
- Premium accounts: Introducing premium membership to support the additional costs due to the premium-exclusive features.
- Instant alerts: Receive an email notification as soon as new art is listed matching your keywords, but also when tracked art has a price decrease. (premium)
- Discarded items: The feature was deactivated due to performance issues, now it's back for premium accounts! (premium)
- Automatic discard of eBay relistings: Get rid of these relistings you're not interested in and focus on new and unique listings. (premium)
- Revamped artists/characters/series pages: Discover their new design, including new statistics! (new pages will take a few days to roll out)Details about premium accounts can be found here (click on "compare plans"). They will be accessible once the new version is fully rolled out. Free accounts will continue to enjoy access to the features you've come to love, maintaining the essence of my commitment to the comic art collectors community. As usual, feel free to contact me if you have a question, an idea, or if you find a bug in this new version.
Thank you once again for your continued support!
Nicolas

I have to login every time I visit now too.
This. I upgraded the server last week, seems to be a collateral damage, but I haven't had the time to take a look at it yet.
So @Rick2you2 your timing (past week or so) is probably not a coincidence. Unfortunately I don't have any device with iOS. Can you provide more information? What are the symptoms, blank page or something else? On all pages or only when you do something specific (like a search)?

It has nothing to do with servers overload - CAT has no more impact on indexed websites than a couple of standard users (and it's even less noticeable for the websites that contacted me to know how to optimize / speed up CAT indexing). They never provided any reason for blacklisting CAT, but it's probably more about their (very unique) "strategy".

A Heritage Auction with nine items in it? Unusual.
I see 54 items in the comic art section: https://comics.ha.com/c/search/results.zx?term=&dept=1938&auction_name=7364&mode=live&comic_category=3242

Two consecutive panel pages by Zulli sold on ComicLink in 2018 for $1,927 and $1,578 (Sandman #71). The page after sold long before on Heritage (2013) for $1,135.
.
Another page sold on Anthony Snyder's website - also in 2018 - for $1,250 (#73).
Sandman #72 page 3 was listed for sale at $5,000 on Scott Eder's website (once again in 2018). Much nicer than the previous ones, but I can't tell if someone bought it at this price.

What does comic art tracker do?
ComicArtTracker is a website dedicated to helping collectors find and track comic art for sale from more than 360 dealers, auction houses, marketplaces and artists websites all over the world. Instead of having to check all these websites manually, you just have to check one. Plus you can define a list of keywords and receive daily notifications by email when new listings match one of these keywords.

Best place to (help you) find art for sale: my precious, definitely! https://comicarttracker.com/en
One Site to rule them all, One Site to find them,
One Site to bring them all and in the Lightness bind themBest place to sell: really depends on what you have to sell (quality and quantity) and what your priority is (price, time, energy...)

I know you were asking more about US dealers, but many (most of) French and Belgian dealers have a physical gallery with openings, exhibitions, etc. I would say 12 of them in Paris + 3-4 more in other locations in France, and 3 in Brussels. Not comic book stores but galleries, as they are all dedicated to comic art (even if Daniel Maghen also has his own publishing house).

Hi everyone,
I'm a French comic art enthusiast who's been a part of this forum for a few years, although I've never formally introduced myself. My passion lies in collecting original comic art from both European and US artists. You might also know me as the creator of ComicArtTracker, a platform designed for fellow comic art collectors!

Hello,
Long time lurker new poster.
On ComicArtTracker I noticed while looking for some Aaron Kuder Superman art that there are duplicates to Cadence site from Polish Comic Art site.
Struck me s something ComicArtTracker and forum should know about if not an old topic
Hi @WillKrypton,
You're right, that's weird and one of the two websites is probably not uptodate... but unfortunately ComicArtTracker can only repeat what the websites say!

Nico, is it possible that the heritage overviews are not working? Every link leads to the same three pieces. Might be my browser safari) though.
Where are the links you're clicking on? Home page, calendar, notifications, search results, another page?
Edit 1: ok, I think I found it, links from the "auction schedule" block on the home page are broken, thanks for pointing this out. I'll fix it quickly, in the meantime you can access Heritage auctions through Heritage calendar: https://comicarttracker.com/heritage-auctions
Edit 2: links on homepage should be fixed - tell me if you find any other broken / non working link!

Hello everyone,
I wanted to inform you that I have just updated my website, ComicArtTracker. This update primarily focuses on internal improvements, enhancing the overall performance and user experience of the site while CAT onboards more and more users. It was also the scariest update I've ever done because I had to purchase additional disk space and "unmount" the existing disk to add that extra space - something like performing open-heart surgery without anesthesia.
I did my best to test the new version beforehand, however, as with any update, there is always a possibility of unexpected issues or regressions. I'd really appreciate your help in keeping an eye out for any issues or glitches that you might come across while using ComicArtTracker. If you notice anything weird or if things aren't working as they should, please give me a shout and let me know right away.
I appreciate your continued support and understanding as I strive to provide the best user experience on ComicArtTracker.
Nico
PS: hopefully you'll get your daily email in 10mn...

@JC25427N is right: you did not see this sale because it was more than 3 months old and you can't be premium yet. But the art is here:
I developed this feature 3-4 years ago (the idea was to find similar items, not necessarily the exact same one). But I found the results quite disappointing so I never made it public. Maybe I'll give it a new try. Neural networks would probably fit well for this task, but would require a lot of resources.
