  4. My Friday Fun. Since @Pat Calhounposted his copy, many moons ago... I've been looking for, and have been bidding on the few copies that have surfaced, to no avail despite strong bids. Patience is a virtue, because I've negotiated probably the structurally best copy I've ever seen into my keep 🤘 A few light pen marks but pretty unused looking 💕

  6. Chattels of Eldorado by Edgar Jean Bracco AvonT-98 1955 $25 SOLD to jimjum12 White Mountain Pedigree copy with the original owners date stamp on the first page. Everett Raymond Kinstler Good Girl art cover. One of his earliest Avon covers. Fine Minus. Stunning overall condition - super fresh, appears unread but has a small ding to lower right of the cover and page edges. Solid straight spine, no creasing except where the small ding is. Small date stamp inside and a light stain on first page only. An incredibly fresh copy of a classic vintage paperback.

Savage Bride by Cornell Woolrich Gold Medal No.136 1950 $50 Now $40 1st Edition, Paperback Original by the master of suspense/noir Gorgeous Good Girl art cover by Barye Phillips, "The King" of paperback artists. Very Fine. Gorgeous unread glossy copy. Square spine, pages tight, creamy and supple. Inside covers toning and aging to the pages and page edges are the only things that keep this book from looking like it rolled off the presses yesterday. Virtually no creasing or edgewear. A spectacular copy of the first edition of a suspense classic with an amazing Barry Phillips GGA cover.

Spine is totally solid but has slant. A light crease on front left cover otherwise only has light wear and toning. An attractive looking book overall.

A Nearness of Evil by Carley Mills Pyramid Books R-730 1962 $10 SOLD to OtherEric Full length nude babe GGA cover art by Robert Maguire, in the vein of his cover to Gil Brewer's "Wild To Possess" Very Good. Looks much better - Covers bright and smooth, appears unread or lightly read. Has an old moisture stain at the top back pages and the book is somewhat curled - as if the back top edge had been in touch with liquid but it didn't reach the other 90% of the book. Otherwise nice fresh page quality. Presents the killer cover art well.
  13. The Passion Murders by Day Keene Avon 684 1955 Great Pulp Fiction Noir by one of the best. $25 Now $20 Classic Raymond Johnson Good Girl cover art Fine plus. Glossy great color. Solid spine, slight chip at bottom edge, Pages tight in binding, slightly tanning but supple. Minimal cover creasing and wear. Overall an attractive copy of a Day Keene classic vintage paperback that is tough in this condition with the black cover and all.

A classic of the Golden Age of Avon and a pretty stunning copy of a 72 year old vintage paperback. Very Fine minus Incredibly glossy unread copy. No cover creases, near perfect lamination. Very minor edge/corner wear. Tiny owner stamp neatly placed on inside cover. Pages lightly toning. A superior copy that would be tough to improve on.

I can't believe the boards won't allow that last name. An excellent copy of the scarce 1st paperback edition of the 1981 Nebula nominated novel. If you haven't read Tevis, you really need to. Fine/Very Fine appears very lightly read. Light edgewear.

Fine Plus. Square spine, pages tight, creamy and supple. Usual toning to inside covers. Light spine edgewear, virtually no creasing. A very attractive copy that's heard to beat.

  18. Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein Avon V-2056 1st Print June 1962 $80 SOLD to Tupenny Conan Neil Boyle cover art. A stunning copy. This was my over-copy for the last 5 years. I ponied up for a marginally better one last year. 1st paperback edition, 1st printing with no printing number information on the copyright page. The 1962 Hugo award winner, Heinlein's most famous novel. Hard to find the first printing at all, let alone in nice condition. This book was passed around on campuses like a loose joint and suffers all the hardships of both fat volumes and black cover books. Fine/Fine Plus. Solid tight binding. Brilliant colors. Light finger crease to lower right corner, no other creasing to the covers. light edgewear. Great page quality. May be unread - a stunning copy of a scarce, thick paperback that is usually found creased and torn. It would be hard to upgrade from this copy.

Has a thin dust shadow and light soiling to the white covers. Usual toning to pages but inside covers are very white. A very nice looking copy.

An unusual future murder mystery by an author's author who wrote in both genres. Very Good Plus/Fine Minus. Very glossy, square and tight. Has a reader crease but no corner creasing. Light soiling to the white covers. Usual toning to pages and covers. A nice looking collectible copy.

A tough Galaxy Novel in nice shape due to high demand for Hubbard, cheap paper and the dark cover colors. A very well crafted story. Read this one to see why he was a well regarded author before the Dianetics controversy. Fine Minus. Square, glossy and tight. Very light edge chipping and wear, small bindery tear/chip at top spine, but no reader or corner creasing. Usual toning to pages and covers. A very collectible copy
  22. The Death Dealers by Isaac Asimov Avon T-287 Paperback Original, 1st Printing 1958 $40 SOLD to Tupenny Conan Killer (literally) Femme Fatale cover art by GGA master Robert Maguire. An astonishingly nice copy of Asimov's signature Crime Novel. He also wrote crime short stories but I believe this was his only novel. Lot's of crossover appeal with this pb. Very Fine. Covers bright and completely smooth, obviously unread with virtually no surface or edge wear. Great off white page quality. Light toning to interior. Likely unimprovable.
