  1. Hot Rod... nice... love the JD... there's so many cool paperbacks...
  2. Nice find. Although it's "pulpy" looking, Hot Bullets for Love is a grail for vintage paperback collectors.
  3. JD & Dystopia stuff are faves... here's both genre's in one... the spine tear blows but i think I paid 50 cents for it so....
  4. As I turned adult...my interests twisted between comics and literature and found they intersected... in vintage paperbacks and digests... I still love my comics but this stuff is damned interesting !!!
  5. Thanks - that's a 1975 Gibson ES-335. A great guitar that has the soul of an old blues-man in it
  6. 2 Jokers atop a Ferris Wheel in an Amusement Park - what could go wrong? Just a great un-sung cover by Jim Aparo.
  7. OK - This is my Comic Room - a bit messy - and I share it with some of my music toys and my daughter's stuff - she loves to hang out in here... but I did get to paint it Superman colors Someday i'll get more things displayed... Sorry 'bout the fuzzy pics but I can't get this iphone to take a sharp shot today
  8. I like the character, love the Ditko art and think Charltons are undervalued in general - but this book has always been so common and unwanted...until now it seems. There were a couple of copies on comic-link a few weeks ago that are gone now - and ebay is pretty barren of decent copies.I guess the market is speaking.
  9. I know it's considered silver age but my CGC 8.5 Blue Beetle 1 (1967) with what I thought was a fairly aggressive BIN $159.99 (abt 2X guide) just sold in a heartbeat.
