  1. Forbidden Planet by W.J. Stuart Bantam A1443 1st Print March 1956 $25 SOLD to Buscemas Avengers Movie tie-in. Classic Robby Robot cover Fine minus/Fine. Tight pages. Spine has slant , some dust soiling and light creasing to covers. Light marker erasure, done very well. Still a good looking copy of a classic.
  2. Costigan's Needle by Jerry Sohl Bantam A1278 1954 1st PB SIGNED $20 SOLD to BuscemasAvengers Beautiful Don Crowley cover art. High grade copy signed by the author. Very Fine. Square tight and bright, very light wear to the extremities. About as good as it gets.
  3. False Night by Algis Budrys Lion Books No. 230 1954 $12 A really good post-apocalypse novel and one of the small number of Sci Fi titles published in Martin Goodman's Lion line. Cool wrecked New York City cover. Fine minus/Fine. Tight Square and glossy, just that reader crease detracts but a nice copy over all.

Appreciate your eyes Beau - yeah, it's an enigma, and I remember now that you mentioned it to probably be "RG" Some of us thought that "RB" could be Robert Bonfils, since he did a ton of commercial art in the late 1940's before getting into sleaze, and the women's fingers look just like his women, but the "RG" is clearer on the other books like "Hungry Eyes" so that got shot down.

Light edgewear, surface wear and some rubbing to the black cover. Tide line on inside cover but no rippling or any sign of moisture. A nice looking copy overall.

Full length Good Girl cover art VF Minus Super square and glossy. Tanning to inside cover, light crease on back cover that doesn't break color. Very nice looking.

  14. PLUGGED IN Jay Martin Berkley Medallion Z2246 1st Print 1972 $45 SOLD @30% off to GrasshopperFF Rock n Roll circa 1972, dig the bell bottoms One of McGinnis' rarest (and grooviest!) covers. Love the Gibson SG! Tough in any condition. Very Fine minus (Qualified VF?) Super sharp square and glossy, appears unread. Whites are a bit toned, more towards the spine. Very thin stain mark at spine edges, weird because there's no other moisture artifact. Structurally amazing.

Also one of Belarski's last covers for Popular Library and one of his best imho. Fine/Fine plus. Tight and glossy, has slight slant. Has a few light creases and surface wear, a well presenting piece overall.

Not rare due to many printings but in grade it's a desirable thing everyone needs VF minus. Square tight and glossy. Light edgewear, tiny corner bend on back lower left but not much else to report

My cover art crazy friends and I have been trying to figure out who "RB" is forever since he did several iconic Avons around this early time but no one knows Fine. Tight and solid with great color. Spine has slant and some stressing but covers are smooth with light bends, mostly on the back.
