About 40 years ago, the owner of my LCS had the Church copy of Batman #20. I told him a million times, if you ever want to part with it, I'm your huckleberry.
One Sunday morning, he called me. Rent was due, and he was short. I could have the Batman #20 for $600 cash. I was 16 or 17 years old, and didn't have the money. I had to decline, and it haunts me to this day.
