So what happened? Did the books ship? If I pay only $100 for a slab and it has not arrived in a week I start go nuts, so 30 days?IDK. This particular discussion has been going on a while.

Hey I can join this club...here ya go!
I have multiples of the original limited plus the 10 issues of the late 80's series as well. I like the Daredevil cover the most. Zeck is an artist I very much admired all my life. Not the most public artist I can think of though so nice one on the signature series.

In any case, Adonis has guaranteed that the books will go out tonight. If he follows through as expected, I will certainly update this thread.
Not to interrupt your discussion and not to be rude but I do not see how Adonis can do this as the Post Office is closed today for the holiday.

In the vain of shadow image above could anyone help to clue me in on what I might be doing wrong in my sales thread? I have a hulk 340 9.4 selling for 5$ less than any on eBay plus I am offering free ship[ping. Technically if another savvy boardie wanted they could buy my book and flip it for a small profit. It is a pretty concise listing with the title , price and grade in bold at the top. At the bottom I give the cert.# and I state money back satisfaction guaranteed. Is there just no demand for this book right now? I did the same with a Punisher #1 a month or so ago and had no luck. Are these copper books of no interest right now?, because I am offering some good deals.

I tend to disagree as I find this my favorite place on the forums. I have graded at least 100 books here. Check my posts if you do not believe me.

If I might add to the last comment, if anyone has read any of the grading guides that is the exact terminology that is used therein. So further in the vein of recent polls I have seen requesting grader notes by many from CGC it would help people to familiarize themselves with these abbreviations. So while it might be overwhelming to some I would vote to see it kept in place.

This thread is like people talking without speaking, people hearing without listening.

I am confused! Why do people crack open their CGC graded comics?

Slabs are great because it takes the debate out of the grade of the book. Although it is not fool proof, a solid plastic case can do a lot to preserve the book. If a book is valuable cracking it out of the slab does not mean it looses all its value. If the cost of having the comic book CGC'd is covered by the increase in selling price of the book over time then a collector preferring raw can be confident in the grade and value thereafter as well. I have heard of rare instances where dubious individuals have tried to use cracking for trickery but that is usually unsuccessful . So to summarize why someone might not crack a case; I myself get a sense of security from having my comic book sealed in solid plastic preserving it from damage by my fumbling little fingers.
