  1. I saw that case years ago and told my companions these were the creme-de-la-creme of US coins. They were suitably unimpressed.
  2. I didn't see anything in your other post that wouldn't fit in the Silver bags and boards. I don't think there's an appreciable downside to using Gold bags and boards for everything other than the look of the finished product as well as the fact that more modern books can slosh around in a larger bag. For the small difference in cost, I would just go with Gold for anything that needs it, and Silver bags for everything else. Have fun!!
  3. Wonderful pics! This one makes me cringe a bit when I see that ladder leaning up against the wall books. I guess they didn't have ladder mitts back then.
  4. Well, you're doing a lot better than me. I've never had a copy, nor a lot of the JD stuff you post.
  5. Great choices at a glance, yes, but more than half the comics sold weren't superhero. No funny animal, teen humor, western, or crime books?? Where's Donald Duck? Where's Archie? When you consider all genres, the question gets much tougher.
  6. This is great! And there are so many classic series in sight that I didn't even know were collected like this, including those Dell Tarzan and Flash Gordon books, as well as Casper, Richie Rich, and others. I guess I need to pay more attention to some of these wonderful editions. Happy reading!!
  7. 3.5 on an indispensable early SA Marvel!
  8. 1.0 likely, but I could see it in a 1.5 holder for this nice, early piece of comic history!
  9. 5.5 to 6. Presents well but a bit of waviness at the bottom and a few splotches on the gloss on the back cover likely hold it back. Super cool book!
