  1. Incredible. Simply incredible stuff. Kirby splashes, Krenkel maidens, Fuchs illos. And boy did Wood's inking make Heck's pencils appealing! I never venture over that way, as I am not a skilled traveler in those parts, so thank you for posting the results/links. As a matter of clarification, were all those works acquired by the owners just this past year?
  2. Cashing in is right. I am not current with what's going on nowadays with my favorite silver and bronze age titles, but I did see enough copper reboots to make me tap out. I've heard tell of a million plus retcons since, and it just seems so convoluted. And greedy. I know of course that there are probably some great stories in there nevertheless - how couldn't there be? what with the foundations earlier laid - but I'll catch an occasional glimpse into this vast new "multiverse" one graphic novel at a time.
  3. They are very good, especially 32, and ESPECIALLY if you read the original Korvac saga in the Avengers.
  4. That's encouraging, and, in the case of the Crockett fan, curious!
  5. Cool pick-up! Imagine two of the greatest comic characters of all-time in a nice presenting 10-cent cover price book for less than thirty bucks. It's tough to believe really.
  6. Sure, this cover needs a babe, but the title has "atom" in it:
  7. Totally so. I can see the 1960's Colan incarnation all over this, moreso than a few of the others. Colan was never in my top tier - no room what with Kirby, Steranko, Smith, Buscema, Romita, etc. - but after purchasing a couple decent stacks of Colan's Daredevil here on the boards, I am all-in again with my appreciation of him as an avant-garde artist. That Marvel Bullpen of the late 60's cannot and will not ever be surpassed.
  8. The coloring, especially on that first panel, is really fantastic. It certainly sets an appropriate mood for the story.
