Really cool to see those displayed so respectfully... as the amazing artifacts they are!

Thinking about all the mind-bendingly fun junk you have...how on earth did you ever settle on an avatar?
Good question! But settle he did and it perfectly suits his free-wheelin' (not Franklin) way, especially when he's in a mood to crack wise.
You know how they say people eventually look like their dog and vice versa? Robot Man is somehow well represented by a Japanese toy.

Wow..Photobucket...39.99 a month. I have not the foggiest idea how they believe they add any where near that kind of value. I'm guessing they are on the precipice of survival...There go my pictures.

So so so so so so so classic it hurts!
It's not just hyperbole: the whole book is an under-rated classic (to the extent there IS such a thing), and the top 1/3 of the book is the best of all time!! That's right. The BEST of all time!
Logo. Colors. Genre. Tagline. Photo inset. Right down to the last detail, like the tremble of the gun as it blasts the rats.

Tyler was a beast!! He was throwing people around easier than Hulk Hogan in that Captain Marvel serial. And he didn't even need a puffy, sculpted rubber suit!

Canadian copy. Was this cover used on any other books?
Yes, it was a Target cover. I was going to scan one the other day. I'll dig it back up (unless someone beats me to it).

I remember as a kid seeing the term "esoteric comics" more and more in the early Overstreets and not even knowing what "esoteric" meant. THIS... is an esoteric comic!!
What a piece of obscure pop culture Americana: everything from the logo and lettering to the fusion of the romance and western genres, and of course that killer Cole linework and poster-ific coloring. And what a nice sharp copy too. Bravo.

I have a 14 as well. I think it's hilarious enough, but alas it's not an 8.
