  1. Thank you both for the kinds words.

I met Scott Eder last weekend in Italy and he told me stories of all the pages by Jamie he bought back in the 90ties. He was just a regular comicbook dealer at the time when he saw Shade's cover by Hewlett for sale and decided it was time to change his business core. He bought more than five of those covers for a few hundreds each and started his new business. He sold hundreds of them and calls himself stooooopid for not keeping more for himself... he still has that TG cover with the Ramones hat that I keep asking and asking and asking (the punkrock in me)... But even if we are pals, he is not going to sell.

I just wish more people would be interested in Jamie's art... Man, it's undergorund culture and hit the masses strong and hard.

  2. Hello folks,

In order to go for a bigger purchase/trade I am willing to sell these two pieces:

    1) Alan Davis spider man splash from Clandestine #6 (inks by Mark Farmer). Of course Alan pencils are under the inks. Astounding piece. 1.750USD. Shipping from Italy included.

    2) Steve Dillon Peacher #19 page with both Jesse and his two eyes and Tulip. Perfect example from early issue. 2.8k. Shipping from Italy included. SOLD

Might trade partially with Bolland, Dave Stevens, McSpidey, Hewlett, Mignola and Sandman art.

Both pieces in my hands. Plenty of reference in the hobby.

    Ciao!

  3. New Italian art!

These two pages I recently purchased are a clear statement that sometimes you can have fun with a few bucks just trusting your taste and your guts...

We are talking about two young cartoonist from Italy (Isaak Friedl & Yi Yankg... the first, despite his name, is Italian, the second is Japanese or Korean if my memory serves me) in their early twenties who have just released a wonderful graphic novel ("Aiuto!" - "Help!") on Bao Comics, one of the biggest cpmpany here in Italy (a sequel is already in works and should be out soon).

Let me know what you think about them and, if you feel like it, leave a comment!!

  4. Milo Manara new HUGE art!

    Hello everybody,

after my last purchase during Lucca Comicon 2016 (Guido Crepax from my buddy Scott Eder), I decided to spend all my last money on this huge page by the Italian master Milo Manara (Napoli Comicon 2017). The page is huge (see description for details... I love my descriptions:-)) so now I am a happy man. A broke man but happy. And my wife pushed me a lot to buy this page. Happy wife, happier man. Who cares if I am broke untile th enext purchase!

Please enjoy and feel free to leave a comment, as they are always very appreciated!

  5. I have finally found the time to do some (lousy) pictures with my brand new phone and upload them here. This is, basically, my permanent collection, even if, as we all know, nothing is forever in this hobby (I am an upgrader, and my pieces are ALMOST perfect in my opionion) .

Growing up with Vertigo, there is no way I cannot start with:
