Just in. Very under-rated book with a full Spider-Man apperance throughout. Usually overlooked because he's not on the cover
So you are the one who won that one
This was on HGC for awhile eh? I had though about it...and thought about it...
Nice book!

What did your guest think of the backstory? I'm sure they went away thinking these books were owned by a serial killer. Most people seem to embrace that mistaken concept at the beginning.
Considering the guest was from my wife's church, and was over as part of our pre-marriage counseling (still have the church ceremony coming up), I was very sure to point out that the guy was cleared of the murders, and that someone else was caught and convicted. Course, the guy still wound up in jail for the rest of his life for being otherwise creepy, eh? =)
Regardless, she still thought the Stan Lee File Copy was cooler. That's a coolness that is easier for comic newbs to understand.

Just arrived in the mail today.
My first Green River Book.
Special thanks go to a few fellow forum members in assisting with the purchase of this book.
Grats!
I was watching that one. He had it up as a $1000 BIN for awhile, and I was curious what it would end at. Certainly no where near $1000!
I just had the pleasure of taking out one of my GRs and explaining the whole pedigree concept, as well as the story behind this particular pedigree, to a total comic know-nothing over dinner at my place last night. I love that stuff. =)

Kudos to DKB for getting me a modern mini I should have picked up when it came out!
Super secure shipping, too!

Thanks, Brad - I know those Greenies will look even better displayed among so many of their brothers and sisters.
Guess this makes pretty obvious which Silver and early Bronze Age run I've elected to sell. More news to follow shortly, so stay tuned...

Where on earth do you keep finding the GR's, Brad!?!? You're killing me with the Spidey issues I don't have!
What he said! =) Very pretty book.

I wonder how many times I can show this? This is on its way to me from Arex and it is my first pedigree book. I have had 2 Don Rosa books but those were from a collection not a pedigree.
As far as I know, Don Rosa is a pedigree. =) Though, I'm not sure the definitive opinion has been set down on that.
Don Rosa is considered a collection.
o? Way to end that arguement, thanks!
Its a pedigree.

I managed to secure this after a lengthy payment plan on my part. Big kudos going out to Bill Hughes, at vintagecollectables. A truely great guy to deal with, full marks!
