Thanks again to Derek for picking these up on the way home. Now I will need to improve on my MLJ collection to rotate raws into the racks. Don’t think Hangman 3 fits any of the subject matter listed on the racks.

He did not refuse, he kept doing it until he sold his copies. We can't say his name any longer since he was removed from the Matrix. On a side note I did buy a 8.5 Jordan RC for pre covid levels.

Huge thanks to @ArchieComicsMan we were able to secure 3 of these racks. That is what is so great about this community, collectors looking out for each other. I was going to be able to buy them but shipping was going to be a headache. Derek was heading in the vicinity and we worked out getting three of them picked up today. The guy that had them cleaned them up to show me how they would look and the pictures show they cleaned up pretty nice.

I got a price on them that is very fair and they are cleaning one up to see what they look like without interfering with painting them. Now I have to figure out a shipping option as they don't really want to ship.

Not mine, I ran across them in another group. They are in Westville Illinois, owner doesn't want to ship them so I am looking into shipping options. Thanks, I thought they were super cool. Long road trip for me though.

Agree 100%. I have been happy with mine but did want to upgrade right before the run up. Now it looks like I can upgrade and keep the undercopy.

2023 may prove to be tough in landing books for me. Have a move out of state coming with a new role so spare time will be at a premium I am afraid. 2022 was the first year in several that I did not hit a single show so hoping to get back to Baltimore and Charlotte at least this year. I have several books that will rollover into 2023 but was able to knock several off the list this year. The second half of the year was much easier to land a few more books. By the time they process mine after the check clears express is pointless. I figured I was being punished for winning a Fish police book with the rest of the books.

Not sure if any of you ever scroll back through CL auctions but I was looking for a price paid on a couple books to update my records and while some are shocking in regards to what the price was in a say 2013, this book stood out as one that pretty much just holds the price on CL in 4.0 or 5.0.

I should have clarified, it was 13 total books. In the past I have had over 20 books not be that much, I thought it was an error and connected with them, apparently rates were raised based off of what they shared, the last 3 auctions were not nearly as high though.

Had some DC wins this past CL auction, but most have lost the shipping bid, don't think I have ever paid that much for shipping with them. Buyer premium (3%) = $128.52 (discounted if paid by 10-18-2022)Shipping & Handling = $167

Had the exact same thing happen, both trying to buy and sell, although I did not send pics and it was not a flavor of the month book.

I tell my wife the story of my first LCS and how specific the smell was, it had a ton of old paperbacks as well so you picked it up when you stepped up to the sidewalk. It is a timewarp for sure. As for the current market, I am picking up DC books that didn't really jump all that much in the past couple years and now a few are cheaper than before (Showcase 4 was not the case for me). I pulled up just a little short on a Showcase 22 thinking a couple more months may be a better buying time for it. I tried to avoid any of the hype books last year but did buy a few keys I needed like Hulk 1 that I was happy with the price at the time. I also spent time last year filling in DC books I have been wanting since everyone was focused on which spec book would hit. I sold WWBN32 and MS5 when they started to skyrocket to help fund a few books and never looked back, in hindsight there are a couple more books like those in my collection I should have sold when they peaked but that window closed looking at current sales. I will keep buying the books I want to collect with not as much of a focus on gathering inventory. There was a time I was buying IH181 and ASM129 with intent to flip later, those all got out of hand and just did not seem like good buys for multiples to sell later. I have a few runs that can take a priority while this settles down. I was looking to grab an undercopy of AF15 since it has dipped a little but most of what is coming to market has more chipping than I would prefer. I think the big SA books will settle down long before the hype books do (AF15, FF1, JIM83 and IH1).

Made the list with a -26.8% buy! Next buying will be 25% below me. I was actually curious what the Action 252's looked like in your matrix. Thanks as always for keeping up with this.
