  1. bought a book from azkaban recently and everything went great. very happy, definitely recommend!
  2. Seems more of a “tell me” process than a “learning process” thread
  3. Maybe if he were a little less unknown, people wouldn’t so easily forget about him.
  4. Sure you can spend half as much, but it isn't like we are talking about a $500 bag. Under $150 just seems like *shrug* territory if you are buying something that presumably will last a long, long time and serve a specific need or needs. $120, 130 , 150 bucks don't go very far these days. And did you SEE the molded Batman "Batarang" zipper pulls? DID YOU?
  5. After looking at it, its highly specialized and if its manufactured with quality that matches the price, I don't think the pricing is out of line at all. Of course there is a premium due to the branding, but if this seems like a crazy amount to spend on what is being advertised then you all must really be some penny pinchers
  6. I mean sure, if you are ok putting your preciouses into a cheap-o backpack from wal-mart...
  7. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum keeps a copy in their rare book collection https://collections.ushmm.org/search/catalog/bib43662
  8. So far I've found it's published in 1945. The same material was published in a book format, and this magazine format version was intended for "less intellectual" readers, and designed to imitate the look of popular periodicals of the time. The interior is full of pretty tough photographs of atrocities, military stuff, key figures, etc. Published in New York by F.F.F. Publishers, whoever they are/were. I've decided to sell it, as I don't really collect WWII stuff, even though this is a really interesting piece.
  9. Buying on eBay is fine. It’s more than fine: it’s awesome. Buy what you see and not what you are told you are seeing. And eBay bends over backward to protect buyers. i don’t really see the problem at all
