  1. Love these covers you guys are posting, there's nothing like the Golden Age. Here's one I got recently, nice Sprang Cover.
  2. I second the motion that you have to stay with it-- it starts slow (by today's standards) but soon enough you won't be able to STOP watching. I caught it on TCM one night starting at about 2am and kept with it until the end, intending to turn it off in another minute but never able to.
  3. Even if he didn't do the cover, I'm sure his work appeared on the inside.
  4. Got this from the UK last week-- love the Dr Strange vs the Skull KKK cover!
  5. My son Joe works for Ted Van Liew of Superworld Comics, and they recommended this board to me. Glad I found it.
  6. I'm Andy, I love the Golden Age, and though I do collect some silver and bronze, Gold is where my heart is. I collect mostly based on covers, as an artist myself I am drawn to striking covers. I've also got a fondness for Kirby, Steranko and Wrightson, so I'm always grabbing work by them too. I'm also a comic book artist myself, full time. I don't care much for superheroes, but I'm able to make a pretty good living working with book publishers and non mainstream titles, My latest book out is FREEKISH BLUES with musician promoter Ken Abate and a DRACULA adaption for McFarland Press. Coming up is a graphic novel with actor and comedian Steve Altes, and I've worked previously with the real Batman, Adam West. Great board, I'm happy to be here.
