    A lot of these WHIZ Comics have great covers-- and for Golden Age books they are pretty reasonably priced. This one is a favorite.

    Got this sweet Zach Howard Batman Scarecrow Year One cover. Really love the line work on this. Stunning piece. This was a great little mini-series with interiors by Sean Gordon Murphy.

    Here's another one, I love The Shadow pulps, but his comics of the same era had a lot of kind of timid covers-- not this one-- picked this up right away.

    And this one, EXCITING COMICS 45! The Black Terror battles a robot-- and if that's not enough the Robot is carrying BOTH a knife AND a gun! They made a great little statue out of this cover and I was psyched to find it!

    Got Two Black Terrors in today, well one Black Terror and an Exciting Comics! LOVE this cover! First up BLACK TERROR 15 Insane-- Radar to the Moon-- saboteurs with blow torches! And the faces! Oh the faces! Were I around in the 1940s as a kid I would have been all over these!

    I second the motion that you have to stay with it-- it starts slow (by today's standards) but soon enough you won't be able to STOP watching. I caught it on TCM one night starting at about 2am and kept with it until the end, intending to turn it off in another minute but never able to.
