I bed beg to differ. She said that link is where to FIND facilitators, which I did not ask. I already know where to find them. As I stated I've already contacted a few to no avail. My question was "Where do I post that I'm looking for a facilitator who will be attending a specific event?"

I believe Chris Evans sig on a Captain America book would definitely add value, but maybe not to a Captain America comic book collector. I think at the Height of Adam West's career, if you would say the top was while doing batman, his sig would have been worthless. I don't believe comics were big at all in the 60's, so his sig wouldn't have added much to an early batman book, just as a stan lee signature in the 60's would have been worthless. Things are very different now. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

This question is regarding 1 of my submissions for 10 magazine comic books. The books were submitted on 4/8/2021 & according to the status they are now scheduled for grading. There are 2 TMNT LAST RONIN books I wanted to take out of the submission to submit to the private signing due on 2/4/2022. I was told after speaking with Celeste that this cant be done, but since CGC has been sitting on these books for 9 months, not allowing me the opportunity to submit them, I'd like to know if an exception can be made for these 2 books by someone higher up? Thanks

My sister asked me about my books and what would happen to them if something happened to me. My parents getting their hands on them is out of the question. They would sell them for $100 and think it was great. I showed my sister what several of them are selling for on ebay and now she knows that my collection is not to be taken lightly. I told her to put them up for auction and never buy now unless u know the value. Never sell anything to a comic shop because they need to make money and will have no choice but to lowball you, not that they are trying to rip u off, but they have to turn a profit. I told her seek out the collectors, that's where you'll get the most for them. This is something we should all think about and plan for.

I started in 84 or 85'. about 2011 I started grading my books after a friend and co-worker suggested I get my books graded. I said, what's that? He turned me onto a whole new world. I guess I've always been a collector, but I knew from the beginning that I wanted them to go up in value. That's why I bagged and boarded them all after reading. For me there's something about having a thing that's valuable. I try to find multiple copies then keep the best and sell the rest. I want hot rare books. I guess I was an equal collector/investor who turned into a mostly investor/collector. sometimes I try to sell some things I've purchased, had signed and graded, to slim down my collection, but I just can't bring myself to sell them.

As I recall Mike Tyson did a signing event maybe a year and a half to 2 years ago in Maryland with a number of other athletes. If I can locate the article I'll post it

i heard their grading has slipped. meaning books with high grades have been coming back with lower grades and it's happening more than usual. I'm afraid to call and ask about my books because I don't want to rush them into messing up my books.

Mine have been in Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging mode for about 2 months now

I grade for all of the above. If i have a feeling about something, I'll try to grab multiple copies, so I can sell some and keep one for myself to make up for what I spent, some i sell when they don't come back with the grade i expected and some i submit to test my skills (this is rare)

I see padded mailers being pushed on ebay as if that matters. I tape books to cut up big screen tv boxes. they are about the thickest cardboard u can use. for them to get bent u have to actually bend them. I'm surprised no one else uses them. i'm the only one. I grab them from apartment dumpsters. best time to get them is Christmas. I'm tapped out now, cant find them anywhere. I actually go Christmas shopping for myself in dumpsters. Found a remote control in a box once, sold it on ebay for about $36

Nope, the pins were for Monster Kill Squad 1 and Pyrate Queen 1. They punched in the passive aggressive as the purchase, but I didn't purchase passive aggressive. It's not the value of the books, but the value of the pins. That was the sole purpose of going there. I will not buy from them ever again.

Yea. I just knew I had it and didn't see the need to look at it, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway cause if I looked at it the next day It would've been to late. I should have looked when He gave it to me.

First off, I don't give a S about yours or anybody else's sympathies. I asked for information, suggestions, addresses and to blow things up. I want everyone to know what this comic book store did. As far as garbage, that's fine, it's your opinion and it may be garbage to you, but to others it's valuable. And lastly, why would I pay hundreds of dollars for the pins on ebay when all I have to do is play the game to get the pins. that's just stupid. All I did was ask questions, but if u wanna be a smart A and start somethin then bring it on. I'm here waiting.
