  1. Another Weird Science arrived today, this one has got to be one of my favorite of the these WS Covers. Have another in the mail as well.
  2. Got a small stack of Silver and Bronze FF from @crassus today. I'm calling these all silver. Couple are extra copies and few I didn't have.
  3. That big chunk out of the TLBC plus the spine split would make it a fair grade.
  4. Yeah heavy water stain on the Front and back of the AF15 is why 2.5 is accurate. Still a really nice looking book. Def over graded on the FF, with the back on that looks more in the 1.8 range to me.
  5. No they just note them, do not effect the grade at all unless they might effect the appearance of the book. Like if they were written on the cover and have indents etc.
  6. With that cbc on the bottom right it's stuck at 6.5 no matter press or not IMO
  7. No if the signatures were on the outside then you "might" get a green, being on the inside they just note the signatures. You'd have to go to CBCS to get verified sig
  8. This. And if you want to go one step further grab some microchaber paper as well and put a piece in the fornt and back. Slabs will not protect any better than a mylar and acid free board.
  9. It's 36 years old now, stored in a poly bag and board? Store it in a mylar with a acid free board and a few pieces of micro chamber paper and you can't really store it any better IMO. I'm just throwing out a guess based on the small ish pics posted. Can't really see all the corners the best etc. If you can't see any flaws and has no color breaks at all no corner blunting and zero stains at all could be a 9.8 You'd really have to make the call on that having it in hand.
  10. Yeah looks like a 9.4-9.6 from the pics. IMO unless you plan to sell why slab it? If you intend to sell these then yes 100% get them slabbed.
  11. IMO that crease will not fully come out with a press, could be wrong but my $ is on partial. 6.0 max IMO with a press. At that grade slabbed your looking at anywhere from $1600-1900 ish in the current market.
  12. Didn't realize E.C. had it's own thread, so of course post them here as well. Started down the Weird Science road, one still on the way and these 2 from @jimjum12
  13. Thought I'd start a small GA collection. Just got a Couple of really cool Wally Wood cover Weird Science in from @jimjum12
  14. Glue will get you a purple label and it's apparently not that easy to remove and get a blue. Here is a post from Bomber-Bob going through the process. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/441811-undeserved-purple-label/?do=findComment&comment=10432829
  15. Around $15-16K last closest sale was a 1.5 for $13.8K There's a few 2.5 being listed for $18-20K currently
  16. Very nice FF #1, I'm a fan of both and settled for a higher grade TMNT #1 2nd print and FF #1.
