  1. Got another one from this fun little run. I keep chipping away at it and will hopefully complete it soon.
  2. A cool recent "flame throwing" boardie purchase. Never noticed this one before.
  3. Very sorry to hear Dude. Hang in and take it slow. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Looks like you got a lot of folks pulling for you!
  4. I would also go with Ritchie as far as comics go. His love of the medium his whole life comes in loud and clear. But, as far as the “other stuff” goes, not quite as much.
  5. I would also put PopKulture on the list. Also, in addition to comics, he has a very broad knowledge of as his name suggests, Pop Culture. His thread over in GA “What else do you collect” is full of information.
  6. Aw, gee Kav, thanks. I guess when you have been loving comics and “Americana” for 50 years like I have, something must stick. You ain’t so bad your self!
  7. I don't need many PCH books anymore, but I'll take this one!
  8. #10 is the latest one I got. Supposedly the last issue of new material. I have a few issues still left on my subscription. Be interesting to see what happens. Then, sadly, I’m probably done...
  9. Why is that Crime Clinic #11 still sitting there? You guys on dope? I would have been all over that one if I didn’t have a better copy already.
  10. Mine were these as a kid. "Ugly Stickers". I didn't know who Wolverton was until much later but these were the Garbage Pail stickers of my era...
  11. That’s probably because Mr Overstreet just doesn’t think it is worth mentioning...
  12. You still buying old comics Marty? Or is 10 cents your limit?
  13. Does anyone really believe that WW movie hype has any direct effect on a book like this? How many movie fans streaming into the movies even bother to visit a comic book store to purchase vintage WW comics, let alone a big key like this?
  14. Thanks Corey. Yeah, that is true. Blue Ribbon seems to get overshadowed by Pep and Zip. The contents are great. Not that most people seem to get past the great covers. The Spectre might be my favorite GA superhero. I discovered Mr Justice years ago. Very similar to the Spectre and decided to go for his run. I’m down to his first and last apperances. The last being a VERY wild skeleton torture cover that I don’t think I’ve ever seen for sale. I’ve only got 3 Jackpots. (2 are even coverless). These are way outta my hands now due to the appearances by that freckle face teen age kid... By the way, if anyone out there in comic book land ever spots the Rang-A-Tang membership card, I’m your sucker. Never seen one. Not surprising as in the case with most of these comic book clubs, the paper items are always the first to get lost or trashed.
  15. Thanks for posting Marty. Yeah, Spirit 18 does have his origin retold. Not noted in Overstreet even though I’ve told Bob several times. I discovered it years ago when I got a copy of the book. I can’t read the label, but does CGC note it?
