  4. Continuing to clean out the junk pile. This sale is all Reprints, Hardbound books about comics, early price guides (not Overstreet), Fanzines, Pop-up Books and who knows what. I also have a thread going in GA/SA/BA offering all varieties of comic related Magazines. I will post some stuff here, move over to the other one and post stuff for the next few days. Stuff should be priced to move. Have fun... Rules: No problem children or HOS members. Postage will vary depending on what you buy, how much you buy and where you live. I will keep cost to a minimum and ship the most cost effecient way. I will combine postage on multiple purchases. All will come with tracking. I prefer to sell only to US addresses but might make an exception if I know you. PM's and offers... I am trying to sell this stuff and want to get as much listed as I can. I try to price fairly. I probably won't have a lot of time to review PMs if I want to get this stuff listed. An "I'LL TAKE IT" icon takes it first. So, keep that in mind if you want something. When I get done, I will review PMs (in order of when they came in). If you have a question (other than a lower offer) post it and I will try to answer you. I prefer checks and money orders as to not run up my PayPal tally too much but will also accept Paypal if you prefer. Returns: No hassle returns within two weeks from when tracking says it was delivered. Return postage is on you unless I make a gross error and in that case I will "man-up" and pay return postage. I don't expect any returns though as I've only had 3 or 4 in 40 years. This stuff all comes from a smoke filled, varmit infested, mouldy junk house. (Just kidding!) Here we go...

  14. Continuing to clean out the junk pile. This sale is all magazines from the listed publishers. Probably no comic books on this one. Maybe a few odd things here. I will also be running at the same time another thread in Mixed with reprints, Hardbound books about comics, early price guides (not Overstreet), and who knows what. Please check it out too. I will post some stuff here, move over to the other one and post stuff for the next few days. Stuff should be priced to move. Have fun... Rules: No problem children or HOS members. 15. Makes sense I guess. My thought is to move out a few long boxes and get one or two nice keys or books I no longer want to pay up for. Probably leaving a little dough on the table but at the end of the day trading oranges for apples that taste sweeter to me.
  16. Lifting is an art. You got to take your time and do it correctly. Seems like I am constantly lifting them as well as motorcycle engines and other heavy stuff. I am probably old enough to be many of your fathers. With age comes common sense...
  17. Again, I just gotta ask... Why do you have that many books? Do you love them? Do you think they will all be worth something? Do you even look at them or know what you have? Just seems like a big burden both to me and my heirs... I’m getting a lot older and just don’t need or want that much stuff. I rarely buy collections any more even when they land in my lap. I carefully cherry pick the stuff I want (if any), and pay very well for them. I can’t imagine that that much stuff could be worth what you pay to store it.
  18. There is also this... Probably given out to distributors and DC executives.
  19. It went for just short of $22K. What is the going rate for a 5.5? Yeah, it did look a lot better but at the end of the day CGC says it’s a 5.5. Did the seller get any bump from it’s appearance? It was “pimped” heavily. Is that why it looked “fishy”? What was the price listed here before the sale here was closed?
