Thanks, all.  The one I need is this one.  (Scan swiped from GCD site.)

Can't wait for you to find this one Tony. I'd really like to see a Baker of the day run like G.A.tor is running on his Centaurs.

Do you have most of his other non romance books as well? Know of anybody who has a whole set?

I've been working on a collection of all his Friction House work. All I have left is some later Jumbos.

As we are on giants, I have always liked this one among Baker's Crime genre.  The front cover looks decent, but the back cover has some water damage.

I love that one too. Love the colors. I even have a Mexican version of it as well.

Hope you find one soon.  Here is my copy that I have owned for 20 years if I remember correctly.

I'm no Baker expert but I think this is the rarest Baker giant. Much tougher thanks the Diary Secrets giant. This is about the only copy I have seen. The fact that this is the online I recall seeing here supports this. It has been on my want list for over 20 years. I have kind of given up finding one unless I get lucky.

Felix the Cat 1927 - took a while but found on Amazon on all places.

Wonderful book, but too thick for CGC to slab.

I wonder if that's changed now with the new cases - anyone know?5903d1faa98a2_FelixTheCat1927.thumb.JPG.b0c5d0e55daf02b34d7cd6177cd825b2.JPG

Nice! I'm a big Felix collector. Not just comics just anything mostly from the 1920's-1930's. Never seen that book before. Probably English?

I was at a department meeting at work (psychology) and the talk was bereavement. So I told them that if they collect that they should not leave a problem for their heirs and that "no one wants your beenie babys, your records, your baseball cards, your Lladros, or your comic books". A new employee approached me as we walked out and said that his not yet born kids would want his comics. I told him we need to talk!

They are out there for sure!!! And they want to find us as much as we want to find them, poor neglected things.

This is my favorite thread in General by far. I'm a big flea market guy (not just comics). I love to see what you guys dig up out in the wild.

I have gotten many good leads and finds by letting co-workers know I am a "picker" I have never been ashamed of being a comic book collector.

Speaking of tough.  I've been looking for a copy of this one for years ... in any condition.  And any condition about describes this copy!  Very happy to get even a beater copy because after this, I'm down to just one last Baker St John romance book to have the complete set.  Many thanks to a boardie for alerting me that this copy had popped up on a dealer's site.

WOW, just one Tony??? What is is? Maybe me or some one else can make it happen for you. It has to be done.

  7. I have many of the earlier horror issues. I believe these to be un-sold warehouse copies not actual file copies. I have never seen any stamped although I believe I have a few early 1950's Mexican Tracys with either a file stamp or paper stapled attachment. I will have to look at them.

  8. I believe the first two appearances of Felix in "comic book" form are in the two "all picture stories" Big Little Books. Sorry but I don't have pictures of my copies in my bucket

I do have this late 1920's US published book. I wouldn't consider it an actual comic book though because the illustrations are not in panel form. Still coo and hard to find none the less.
