Was VERY happy to find these at or slightly below guide. These two seem to really be taking off on the "bay"

I was set up as a vendor/seller at a local antique and collectible show this weekend. Guy tells me he has some books, asks if I would look at them. Of course, I said yes but was expecting typical 90's stuff. Not 90's drek! I ended up purchasing the entire lot. Pics below. There were a few other golden age books or parts of them/coverless and a totally roached Sensation Comics #70.
Wow, fun surprise! Some real cool books there and a couple in pretty nice shape. Nice that there are still some older books yet to be discovered out there.

Always fun to find an undisclosed marked pedigree. I often find Cookvilles, Cosmic Aeroplanes and others. I have found several San Francisco/Riley books with the stamp up in the Bay Area but it's been quite a while.

That is just me I am sure many don't care but my eye can't stop looking at it and it drives me nuts. As for a creator's signature I simply don't understand that market but again some people enjoy it so.
I don't mind a creator's sig on a book. As a matter of fact I have many from back in the day. Lots that have passed on. Glad I did it and enjoyed the experience. I almost always have them in ball point pen at the bottom of the splash page they worked on. Only once did I have a cover sig. I got a Superman creator to sign the front cover of a Supe #9. I was young and excited and it was a big yellow cover. Really don't mind it at all now.

for some sick reason i've always wanted a Church cat pee book.
But I don't want it to be surprise cat pee.Urine must be disclosed.
At one time I had a few Mile High Chesslers with cat pee that I got from John McGaughlin. Couldn't figure out why until I noticed the piles oh Mile High books sitting unbagged on his floor. He had cats running all over the place.
He and Burrell Rowe didn't take very good care of their Mile Highs...

Nice one Brian. Rarely see that one for sale. I rarely get many any more. Threads like this one are really driving the prices up. I did fill 3 holes in my run at WonderCon last week though.

Yeah. I had a Spirit 22 one time that probably could have taken down my house.
I saw someone on YouTube talking about freezing the book to get rid of the mold.
I remember that one Rick. Yeah pretty knarly. Mold and rat chews are just nasty.

Cool book Steve and a remarkable copy. Now post some of those cool beaters you got from Harley that I stupidly passed on...

Exact same. Also, going along with the mold, a book that has odor that makes me wheeze for the next 24 hours.
I'm also afraid of mold transferring to other books in the box.

I'll pound you to a "Pulp" if you don't show off yours!

I was more than happy to score this from Bedrock at WonderCon. One of the few titles that I actually read. I'm usually just a cover guy on pulps and this one sure grabbed my attention. Thanks Richard!
