  1. It makes perfect sense actually. Covers A and B have to order 5 copies to get 1 copy of C. Covers A and B need 10 Copies to get cover D. No ebay listings because it is a low print independent title.
  2. MCS Has the ratio wrong, cover C is a 1:5 variant, (I nabbed it, and did the pricing of variants for the order this week and that is what Diamond has for the note). The Cover D listed on MCS is the 1:10 Also, unsuspecting sell out with Guardians Team Up #10 because of the Deadpool and Rocket Raccoon story. Sold out in the store in 3 hours and was gone from Diamond by 2PM Eastern as well.
  3. Yeah, I love how both of those examples posted as hot books have Buy It Nows for less than half of what they just auctioned off for. Shilling/Price Fixing.....c'mon you guys are sloppy.
  4. My LCS got shorted on how many they received of that book so that doesn't surprise me. A lot of copies of this issue in particular have the ink rub on the front cover, and hence, why a NM (True NM) copy will fetch a higher price. Can you tell us more about the ink rub? Not sure it's something I've seen. Yeah, on most Marvel books produced in the last few years, the waxy ink will rub off on the back cover of the book on top of it creating spots on the cover while being boxed/shipped. Reasons why if you are careless and do not pull out the boards, place the book on it, and slide board and book into the bag you will get ink rub streaks down the backing board. Also, instant VF grade drop. Surprised nobody else has sent nasty letters to Marvel as to why their ink sucks as of late besides the cost cutting parents at Disney that is. I went to 4 stores the day of Darth #3's release to find a non-rubbed copy. Due to the coloring of the book, a lot of people mistook the rub for actual cover art.

  6. at Elroy, but S.H.I.E.L.D. Is a great book , and as long as the 616 (or whatever mainstream Marvel universe is next), makes him as awesome as he was written to be, he stays. Battle Scars #1 For the WIN BTW. His death/revival also broke into the Kree connection for the MCU as to why he is alive. Season 3 will have Lash, 1st appearance is Inhuman #1 btw, so expect some more heat on That and Mighty Avengers #13 for the 1st Appearance of the Secret Warriors. It had a lot of world building to do on ABC, now established and good stuff is coming.
  7. Sold one of those at the store for $20.00. Being there are multiple prints, I would guess the 1st print is still cooking a little.
  8. Thanks! I could have sworn there was something the fans got to vote on involving Drift like Alt mode or Name or something, but I could be wrong, I know for sure Windblade and Victorian were voted upon by fans. I knew it was messed up somehow. Thanks for that too!
  9. I sold my raw Harley #1 1:25 for $250 3 weeks ago. I also just uncovered a Marvel Swimsuit Special from the 90's with Hughes doing a Namor/Sue Storm cover from back stock!
  10. Well, allow me to share some scans of those you seek. The Pax RI was the last one I could find anywhere for sale on line. The Botcon Nightbeat was in a set of all 4 covers, Regular, 1:25, 1:50 and Botcon on eBay.
  11. I just wanted to finally collect all the pre unity books I couldn't afford/find during the 90's spike! Like the Harbingers, and the Rai's! And I did yesterday take home the last 1st Appearance book I needed, X-O #1. Writing is what made these books stand out in the 90's, and VEI is doing that, plus more today. Glad to see them get some publicity.
  12. Nope. Dreamwave is a continuation mixture of Cartoon/Comics. It takes place after the American Season 4 episodes (Headmaster movie) (which never happened exactly like that in Japan.) It is an amalgamated weird universe). Marvel had Marvel (USA) and Marvel UK. US was 1-80, UK however would reprint US stories and add UK stand alones as well. Way more issues. Marvel's 2nd series was Generation 2. Some IDW books are Reprints of old Marvel issues, and Target 2005 was a UK Only Story that IDW reprints. Titan also did a slew of Reprints of Marvel and Marvel UK stuff. IDW Started in 2005, with a fresh, modern take on the properties after Dreamwave lost the license, and didn't pay their Artists. New Origin Story, and Optimus doesn't even show up until Issue #6 of Infiltration, on the last page! Marvel 1-80, and IDW Regeneration One 80.5 - 100 +0 = Original Marvel Run. Marvel Generation 2, act as if Regeneration One does not exist. YES, to a degree, There were stories published UK only that never made it to American print via Marvel. They do all connect in some way. That again would be Transformers Regeneration One. Issues 80.5-100 were written by the same team on issue 80 when Marvel Axed them. After Vol. 1 was canceled, they then were put on to Generation 2 and invented Jhiaxus as a villain (Gee, Axe Us was the joke since Marvel canceled books in a way that can inspire a creative team to make a character name from it). Regeneration One being done actually Ret-Con'd all 12 issues of Transformers Generation 2 and made them an "Alternate Reality". War Within Is good, but there are some of these books that were never finished because of Dreamwave's owner, and TF Artist, Pat Lee. I don't pay money for these books because many artists were burned by these books. I'll read em, but won't buy them. I read them all, but only collect a few Non IDW G1 Continuity stuff. A MUST READ that is not listed is Last Stand Of The Wreckers #1-6 or Hardcover Edition. Others: 2009 Self Titled Ongoing #22 and #23, First James Roberts Writings for main book. Entire More Than Meets the Eye Run by IDW. IDW has 2 Ongoings still going at issue 44 each. MTMTE And Formerly Robots In Disguise, now self titled Transformers due to new cartoon getting a book too and taking the RID name) . A 3rd Ongoing, "'Till All Are One" is coming when Windblade Vol. 2 Finishes at issue #7. IDW starts here though..... #0 is Infiltration #0. Followed by Infiltration 1-6. This was IDW's Opener and runs simultaneously with Stormbringer #1-4 (MUST READ). This shows the IDW Universe from the Space and Earth perspectives. Escalation is next. Devastation is the 3rd story. There are numerous Spotlight issues that run along at the same time, the wiki page has the correct reading order. There are then 4 Spotlight issues used for the 4th Story Arc called Revelations: Spotlight Issues for #1 Double Dealer #2 Hardhead #3 Cylconus #4 Sideswipe. Winding down with Maximum Dinobots, then started to wind down on the work of the writer who closed out the Marvel Run. It set up a lot of things and then a new creative team came on for a 12 issue, extened to 16 issue run with All Hail Megatron. Introduced Drift (Fan Built Bot), then Last Stand of the Wreckers which everyone should read, the the 2009 ongoing. Some good, Don Fig's Prime and Megatron redesigns, and bad, the writing of an Emo Prime, with the ongoing, but the best is issues #22-23. Conclude the 2009 series Then followed by the DEATH OF OPTIMUS PRIME. This leads us to both current series' still going. Talk about Torn! When i got back into collecting, I said I am only going to collect Transformers....we all know what happened next.......
  13. One of my LCS owners told me the comic was being delayed until next week, along with some others including Fade Out. I was definitely interested in getting this one in it being Divinity's next appearance after the mini, and was one of the first in the door to try and get one. I have also noticed that (last I checked, at least) it is not in stock on Midtown or MCS websites even for pre-order. 9 Stores in Central Florida got 0 copies, I bet it was Allocated, and has already shown a 2nd print offered by one place I called trying to track it down today. Called in a favor at one of my back up ordering spots, have 2 copies of cover A and 1 cover B on the way. Cannot find a 1:20 and one sold for cheap on eBay today that I missed while at work. Serious heat on this one really fast, bet the print run was low like Divinity #1.
  14. Thanks for the heads up on that book. I may nab it. Six Shot RI-B has been for sale, I've just missed it. . Indeed Self titled #22 is the White Whale of TF books! MTMTE #19 RI is my favorite book, I have owned 3 copies. Never more than 2 at one time though. As for the white whale scenario...........22RI was released 1 week prior to issue #22's regular release date, at SDCC 2011. It has a different Previews code, and not the traditional barcode numbering that would be for a variant released same day as the regular cover a/b's as well. I have only had one store figure this out, and start looking for it. I have messaged IDW and they have no clue how to get a hold of it. So I wish you luck on fishing for that whale, if you catch 2, drop me a line. I will do the same!
  15. You and everyone else, hence the recent cracking/maintaining of $1k for a 9.8 in the ones I watch on eBay at least.
  16. Let me rephrase....I believe he just got a 9.9 from a 5 Below pack of comics. I see that there are indeed 7 below 9.9. I got it.
  17. should be available at LCSs....my LCSs mark all the new action covers up to $5.99 on wed Mine sells them for cover. Another, for double cover. It's all over the place and there is another that has ordered so heavy on Star Wars, they cannot get AF variants because the % to unlock is too high.
  18. My high grade raw Harley #1 Hughes went for $250. $440+ seems legit for a slabbed 9.8
  19. I use Mylar for anything key, and I love Mylite 2's and fullbacks personally.
  20. Newsstand variants are survivors. Usually dealt with more recklessly than a comic store (assuming the sweatty hulk doesn't handle books at your LCS). Mark Jewler Newsstand is likely the lowest print of the 98's IIRC. Mine arrived, after a press and clean, should be a VF+ to maybe a 9.2.
  21. 1st appearance of Yotat the Destroyer of the Destroyer as well. This guy could be a player post Secret Wars. I hope so. Lots of copies of the book though, might take a year or 2 before this one heats at all.
  22. Yup didn't get one this time. So which one of you scalpers wants to sell me one at double cost?
