  1. Secret Wars #1 Black Spider-Man. Nabbed it. Sold out in 10 minutes locally.
  2. 14 Combo Packs of Batman 40 missing from LCS order. Not on the invoice so that means it would be next week, or nothing.
  3. Divinity is the VEI "Solar" and the key to the upcoming "Book Of Death". ANother mini series is already planned, and with a 4th printing on the way, I'd say it was a good thing. Sorry I missed the 1st print when I had the opportunity now.
  4. , Working on my house all weekend, I missed that too.
  5. Justice League #40 1:25 1st Appearnce of Grail a.k.a. Darkseid's Daughter Little heat on this one. Everyone was distracted by Batman #40.
  6. Corpse Deadpool from issue 250 running his own jewels.
  7. You grab the one after me Dan?!?!?!? Or did I get the last!?!?!?!? Muahahahahaha (attempt at evil laugh) I learned my lesson after the last big variant I wanted was 1/2 price at midtown, and sold out, This time midtown was twice the cost of what I should have picked it up for last month.
  8. Where are you Slym? Alaska, Guam, Hawaii?!?!?! When I ship media mail it is there in 4 days average. I do have the Jacksonville hub which is known for getting it done right most of the time but still.
  9. Sorry the bottom fell out of all Dark Horse issues once Marvel got the rights. I've watched it happen with your "RARE" Dark Horse Variants ect. ^This just proved the bottom fell out but it will not be the same with Disney/Marvel never letting go of the rights. Sorry Dark Horse, you had a nice run. Still cannot get rid of my Tales of the Jedi or my Dark Empire II because they are $1 fodder. $69.99? But seriously, it's hard to imagine these books selling below $20, especially considering the original price was just that. Regular moderns that are purchased for $4 that jump that high have the greater risk, but these were already selling for a higher price before hitting the secondary market. Add in the fact that the average person didn't know (or found out too late) about these the demand should last for a good while. But then again, nothing is set in stone... Many, many Dynamic Forces Star Wars variants sell for less than original price. There are some DF Star Wars books that original retailed for $75 or more (signed by Roy Thomas or David Prowse for example) that I have picked up for about $10 each. One of the lowest printed Star Wars comics ever came out last year, Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir #1 Wizard World Atlanta B&W exclusive. It features Darth Maul which is also a popular character and had a print run of only 500 copies. 1/10th of the print run of this Boba Fett variant. It also retailed for $20. Guess how much a copy sold for on February 8th on eBay? $10.50. And another copy sold with the color version on March 19th for $29.99. You couldn't touch these books for less than $80 last year. But that isn't possible right? I mean after all, we are talking about Star Wars which has bazillions of fans and it will always be hot forever. Hate to disappoint the pumpers but while Star Wars comics have experienced a resurgence in demand, there have been many, many times in the past where the demand just wasn't there. Sure, demand might remain high for a few years, but it will wane as people move onto other properties and the current hot thing. Even when the demand is there (like this year) these Darth Maul comics have come down considerably. And they ARE considered part of the new canon; in fact, they are the first comics published that are part of the new canon. And isn't that one of the reasons pumpers say these new Marvel comics are different than the lower printed Dark Horse comics? "These are different, they are part of the canon!" There are Boba Fett examples too. For example, the Wizard 1/2 gold. By all rights, one of the more in demand Dark Horse comics found. It features Boba Fett on the cover and actually has Boba Fett in the comic (unlike the action figure cover.) Definitely produced at a smaller ratio than the non-gold version. It can be found for $10 or less for the patient. The problem these Boba Fett variants have is the print run. 5000 copies is a large print run these days for a variant. A 1/20 variant of a comic that sold 100,000 issues is 5000 copies. Very, very few comics sell 100,000 issues these days. How many 1/20 variants sell for $20 over the long run. Very, very few. Your Boba Fett examples are not anywhere near the Action Figure Variant as far as popularity. at more in demand Dark Horse. Maybe you collectors who were chasing these books, but I assure you there is now a bigger demand for Marvel books, and your Dark Horse have started to tank in value because of it. Dynamic Forces sketch covers, exclusive signed copies, ect ect are never going to command popularity. My LCS gets these almost every order (weather it be star wars or not) and these books will sit like they do at my local store until a sale comes about and that 1 hard core fan buys all the stuff that has been marked down because it sat. Action Figure Variants have been a fresh injection into an old "Variant" market. You cannot compare a failed run (Becasue it lost rights, not as a failure story wise) at Dark Horse to a current and popular run that will hav a new Star Wars movie released this year.
  10. you were supposed to say $70.01 if trying to tempt me.
  11. Only way to avoid that would be to go Copper Forums and older! Hanging out in Moderns will only make you vomit.
  12. You want one of my 9.8 raws? You aren't getting it for $70.00.
  13. I caved, and hit up the Divinity 1:40. I will note that I paid twice what I could have 1 month ago, regular cover 1st and 2nd prints are scarce, and 3rd print is slowly disappearing from all online stores I frequent. Even eBay is low on supply of #1s.
  14. Divinity is not forcing Valiant to do a re-boot. Book of death is going to be a miniseries that shows the fate of all the characters in Valiant. Doesn't mean their books are being canceled or that their characters are being replaced. And yes Divinity is a 4 issue Mini. 1:40 was the top variant ratio for #1, 1:30 for #2.
  15. So it would technically be a 6th print, because a 5th print exists.
  16. I had one listed that just sold for $24.99. This book has some heat. It's been strongly hinted there will be a second Divinity mini series after this one. Dan I just nabbed the 1:40 #1, and it seems 3rd prints are running short supply as well. If the FCBD Oum Spider-Gwen was available (which I missed by minutes), I might have went for that but I think this is a better long term grab.
  17. check the for sale forum there was a few left both raw and slabbed. none left.
  18. Where are the Liefeld "Broken Back" female poses?
  19. If anyone has an extra color copy of that FCBD EOSV #2 they'd like to sell, please PM me.
  20. I was kinda harsh, so I white gloved it, broke them out on the table with the right amount of light to look over them. Backs show no sign of any wear (praise!! because that is incredible for a modern marvel book.) only the one board in my rage. I change my harsh reaction to 3 9.8's and 1 9.4. That one lil non color breaking ding...
  21. Well, I got my Boba Fetts today. 2 9.8's (or very hard 9.75's ...) a 9.4/9.6 and a 9.0 VF/NM with a bad ink scrub from the silver age bags, and one little non color breaking spine tic. Packaging was in a media mail folding box similar to what I ship in when using media mail. Issues were wrapped in paper with cardboard around the books. The Silver Age bags/boards and Marvels ink that caused the only issues with my shipment. But I have had worse on eBay for sure. Good luck to the rest of you, May the Force Be with Your Package innards.
  22. Well just scored the only VF/NM Marvel Now Point One form the same dollar bins I had looted for the other 2 copies, and got it for $0.25 thanks to FCBD sales.
  23. You guys know it's legal for comics that only advertise stuff owned by the publisher, so any adds for Super Hero Stuff, conventions, other books are counted as content. But put an Crown Royal or Tobacco Add in Captain Marvel, and everyone would lose their minds.
