  1. New arrival. Very excited about this upgrade to my VG+ raw copy.
  2. The purple label matches the purple gloves so perfectly, I would be reluctant to acquire a Universal copy. Congrats on the book!
  3. I would choose the 4.0 over the 5.0 in a heartbeat. But I'm content with my 8.5
  4. I also picked up a low grade reading copy so I don't have to crack open my nice one.
  5. It appears to me as though the reholdering has already taken place. If you search for your book(s) in the CGC certification verification, are there new hi-res images? https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/
  6. I'm tempted to call them, but I'm not sure it would accomplish anything or help put my mind at ease. What's done is done I guess.
  7. I sent an e-mail reply but I have not heard back. I will try calling next. Thanks!
  8. Has anyone ever won a book in a Heritage auction, then a few days later, received an e-mail from Heritage that there would be a delay in sending the book because it had to be sent back to CGC? With no other explanation?
  9. Ken Bald is one of my favorite GA artists, but I think that his (or anyone's) autograph lowers the value of the comic - especially if it's in high grade. In May of 2018, the Edgar Church copy of Millie the Model #9 sold for $8,962.50. A few months later, Ken Bald autographed it. In November, 2021 the book resold for $2,640.00. A drop of $6,322.50.
  10. I am not a fan of autographed comics, but I couldn't resist this one.
  11. I'm content with my current copy, but good luck to anyone else who may be bidding on it!
  12. Thanks! It's quite rare, but there is another decent copy in this week's Heritage auction (GCG graded 5.0 with OW-W pages)
  13. New arrival. I've been hunting for a decent copy of this hard-to-find issue for quite a while.
