  1. In a last ditch effort, I'm lowering the total price from $450 to $400 (or best offer). I'm also throwing in another comic - Millie #17. I'm not a professional grader, but I would guess this book is about a G/VG (3.0). Millie #17 is the the first issue of Millie to feature the artwork of Dan DeCarlo. So that's a total of FOUR Timely Teen Humor GGA classics for $400 (OBO) Last call...
  2. I had no idea that HA, CLink or CC even allowed P G X books in their auctions.
  3. I will also throw in this copy of Hedy De Vine #25 for FREE. The cover presents well, but I don't think the book would pass for higher than "Good" (2.0) due to the damage on the back cover and lower spine. So that's a total of three issues of Hedy for $450 (OBO). I will cover priority mail postage.
  4. I'm selling these two issues of Hedy of Hollywood together as a pair for $500 $450 or best offer. I will cover priority mail postage. PayPal preferred. USA only. Both comics were from the collection of board legend 143ksk and both were graded by Heritage as VG/F (5.0). There are only two graded copies of issue #36 and there is only one graded copy of issue #41. Thanks! - Mr. Lady Luck https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/389195-mr-lady-lucks-feedback-thread/
  5. The Mile High copy of Smash #43 just appeared in the Spring Heritage Signature auction... But i spent all my monies on Millie and Tessie.
  6. Aaahh, this makes sense. Thanks for the info, Lotemo.
  7. Why would any copy of Millie #2 be put in a lot? https://comics.ha.com/itm/-this-item-has-been-entered-into-our-system-and-is-now-going-through-the-imaging-and-describing-process-further-details-will-be-added-before-the-auction-posts-for-bidding/p/121834-47011.s?ic2
  8. Yes. And they get smaller than that. Have you ever seen the cover of Cindy Comics #27? Tiniest feet in recorded history. (not my copy)
  9. You're not alone on this. I'm not sure who the artist was on these early Joker issues, but he certainly had a unique style. Sometimes the head of the cover girl was drawn attractively, and other times... not so much.
  10. That's a stiff price to pay for holding D*ck.
  11. I'm seeing more and more comics appearing in auctions with rings. As an example, check out this copy of Comedy Comics #4. In particular, check out the blotches on Millie's legs I'm assuming these are Newton Rings and not on the comic itself, but how do you know for sure? What about bidders who aren't so familiar with the rings? Will this impact bidding?
  12. In my opinion, any PCH that also includes some GGA is the hottest thing on wheels right now. A prime example is Ghost Comics. Timely teen humor is also hot. Romance is rapidly rising in popularity. Recent Heritage auctions have had oodles of Romance comics - and they've been selling quite well.
