  2. If you can take your eyes off Millie, you'll notice that the gentleman in the foreground is reading a copy of Millie #18 upside down.
  3. My best guess is the lack of DeCarlo's signature. I agree that Joker #38 is clearly DeCarlo's artwork - as well as the Millie stories in Gay #37, Gay #38 and Tessie #22 - but without a signature, it's difficult to prove.
  4. That's a great cover and your copy looks immaculate!
  5. Beautiful books! Congratulations on competing the set!
  6. Technically speaking, "Fox Feature Syndicate" is correct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_Feature_Syndicate The problem is that someone (I'm assuming the OSP) originally added the "s", and it stuck. The publisher is referred to as "Fox Features Syndicate" in Overstreet, Gerber's Photo-Journals, on both grading company labels, Heritage Auctions, ComicLink, MyComicShop, etc.
  7. I'm not impressed with the presentation. If I was trying to give the impression that these books were worth anything near a quarter million, I would at least have them in bags with boards.
  8. If he was asking $250,000 I'd say no. But at $249,999.99 I might consider it.
  9. Special thanks to another fellow boardie for this recent acquisition.
  10. That's a beautiful group of books! I especially love the covers to Millie #3 and Joker #30. Also, that copy of Gay #39 is worth a pretty penny these days!
  11. Special thanks to a fellow boardie for this recent acquisition.
  12. Nice books! But Irma is not my friend at the moment.
  13. This panel was drawn by Chuck. This cover was drawn by Gill Fox. This is rubbish.
  14. Chuck Mazoujian was the first artist to draw Lady Luck (from 1940 - 1941)
