  1. There are 11 copies listed in the current ComicLink auction, 6 of which are 9.0+, including one 9.8 ($18,000 so far). I wonder if one or two of the mid grade copies might slip under the radar and end up at a mild bargain price...
  2. Honestly, what's the point of this? Other than giving Stan Lee $1,000. And dude is asking 50 grand on eBay? GTFOH.
  3. How about a Ditko vulture? -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/STEVE-DITKO-SIGNED-ALBUM-COVER-STAN-LEE-JIM-SHOOTER-AMAZING-ADULT-FANTASY-CGC-SS/263852339995?hash=item3d6ed3331b:g:pb0AAOSwjW5bYjLL:rk:1:pf:0
  4. Bad gamblers can still be useful. @MyCameo -- Ulka Sasaki or Anderson dos Santos, both heavy underdogs. Who is more likely to win on Saturday?
  5. That's the very reason I picked up a 6.0 and 6.5 over these past couple weeks. The same price plateau hit late last year, until prices really started to take off again when this year's con season started up in earnest. So I'm certainly hoping we see a similar series of events this year. If not, I've still got two copies stashed for the future.
  6. Meeting adjourned since you can't grasp basic concepts. And I'm sure I've done enough to help you earn your kickback for the day.
  7. I don't think anyone has any idea what you're talking about. @TwoPiece was correct initially that CGC is the only company to require a signature be witnessed in order to certify it as authentic. Both of the other guys offer unwitnessed verification, ergo they only offer a witness service, they don't require it. English is fun!
  8. You're conveniently omitting their practice of unwitnessed signature verification, how is that hard to grasp? But if you'd like to be this obtuse, PGX also offers a signature witnessing program.
  9. TwoPiece -- "Well, since they're the only grading service to require company observed authentication" You -- "Not true, CBCS has company observed authentication."
  10. Wrong, CGC is the only one to "require". CBCS will also red label non-observed books as "authenticated". CGC has no such service, and I personally am glad they don't.
  11. Re-pricing is one thing, but not honoring successfully placed orders is low rent. Hopefully the shafted buyers are raising holy hell.
  12. Over these past many months, it was horrible seeing Stan tossed around like a commodity by the various factions of vultures that had angled their way into his life. Stan - Thank you for everything you did for the industry. Be at peace.
  13. 52 books kav kills per message X 42,338 kav posts / 6 kav years on the boards = 366,929 books killed by kav per year
  14. A 9.8 Universal copy for $5000? From Russia no less? Has to be legit... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-Incredible-Hulk-181-CGC-9-8-/192709972112?hash=item2cde68d090%3Ag%3ARdQAAOSwmUBb2~qs&nma=true&si=LjpuxsFNhGzzUUJ4pVVR7vDHsys%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  15. Further proof that you can be a deadbeat at any feedback level. Calling me "sir" doesn't mean I won't block your az. New message from: minime0424 (510) Hi. 16. For the next installment in the series they should hurtle Tom into low earth orbit with naught but a 45 minute supply of oxygen and a common desktop stapler. From there he'll have to assemble a re-entry vehicle from orbiting space debris.
