  1. Well that's...unoriginal. It reinforces the idea of it being centered around Wakanda. Fingers crossed for Wakanda vs Atlantis plot...
  2. Yikes! That's eye catching indeed, thanks. And a special thanks to gocollect for their delays in capturing data... I might be going back to GPA, how can I not? What's the point of having a pricing service if they don't update their prices? The whole point is to be informed, and I'm not (or at least wasn't in this instance). Sorry, rant over....
  3. Not really...regarding FF4. Randomly selecting some recent sales... 6.5 this march for $6600, a year ago I'd say it was a $6K book... 3.0 in march for $2200, a year ago I'd say it was a $1500 book... While it's gone up, sure...it has not seen anything remotely close to the craziness the rest of the "key" market has seen as of late. Serious question, what sales are driving you to this conclusion? Maybe I have some blind spots...
  4. Yes my bad. Apparently tequila makes me bad at simple math...
  5. I missed this post. I suspect there's more to the story here...creating a new account to circumvent a hard stop put on your existing account? This seems a little sketch... I had to call MCS once, and I gotta say...the customer service was top notch. Super pleasant...
  6. I don't disagree. But if rationale had been provided, we probably wouldn't be three pages deep and counting talking about it via a public forum. I'm objective though, both approaches have their pros/cons...
  7. But, after rationale is given, and an argument is presented in response...if you stop, it stops. The end... Or at least, that's how I handle things that digress to an unproductive level...
  8. A judgement accompanied with rationale is different than a judgement accompanied with endless appeasement. I agree that a line should be drawn if necessary.... I've done it countless times in life...
  9. I don't have anything new to contribute, but I'll second/third/fourth/whatever it's up to at this point... They typically under-grade, so perhaps OP is a habitual overly critical returner. BUT I am not asserting that suspicion as fact...@ADAMANTIUM put it most maturely & succinctly (per usual), the problem is that OP doesn't know why he was banned. If he's banned, he's owed the professional courtesy of knowing why... C_
  10. Strange Tales #159 - Don’t know how to grade it but the flaw that holds it down is obvious. Solid book with nice colors otherwise. An opportunity for someone... Feel free to ask for more pics.
  11. 1.) Highest bid before 10pm eastern wins. As in, a bid at 9:59pm+ counts, a bid of 10:00:00 doesn't... This would probably do better on eBay, but this will be more fun (for everyone)...I hope. 2.) Paypal/Check 3.) Shipping is $10. US shipping only unless negotiated otherwise. 4.) I'll accept returns for any reason. I must be notified within 2 days of receipt of book. Return shipping is on buyer unless I messed up or book was damaged via transit. 5.) Nobody on probation or HoS lists. 6.) I have a kudos thread in my profile. I can also provide my eBay handle via PM if desired. Been on these boards for awhile now and have done many deals, ask for references. 7.) $10 bid increments. $500 buy it now.
  12. Tough one...X4 for me. Agree with you @blackterror, while FF4 isn't exactly an unknown or cheap book, it's a sleeper....
  13. I still have nightmares about missing this book by minutes... Awesome book GLWTS.
  14. I’ll never get those minutes of my life spent fast forwarding back...
  15. Personally, I don't see the need to reinvent the rings as bracelets...what's wrong with rings?
  16. The reason gocollect can do it and gpa can’t, which also explains the delays, is because gocollect uses humans to update their data...not an API. Or at least, that’s my understanding...
  17. Black knight is a good example. The atlas variety has seen a massive spike even though Sir Percy of Scandia isn’t the character targeted for movies (Dane Whitman).
