    Next up, a small piece of environmentally sensitive paper that changes color over time in the label section of the slabs. If it’s X color all is “good”, if it’s Y color it’s time for a reslab to upgrade the microchamber paper. The composition of this mysterious material will be proprietary, but after 5-10yrs if you want top dollar, you better not have a skunked slab (coining the term now)!

    Isn’t heritage pretty much known to be a prime target for fraudulent bidding? Something about running up bids and then being able to retract once proxy has been exceeded..which bumps it back down to the other bidder’s max? I’m steering clear from HA for now…

    I hope you’re right and agree the book has a lot going for it, but I have some personal insight and experience into current FMV and it’s contrary to the 3.0 $10k sale. However, there’s always the real possibility this sale is the spark for FOMO.

    I submitted some books for pressing (respected independent presser) and grading in October. Still waiting…if that makes you feel any better.

    I don't disagree. Just felt relevant. I'm still grateful for someone who posted their method (which was that) somewhere... Otherwise I would have never figured out that those two specific boxes nest so well....

    For priority mail boxes...a well packed 1092 inside a 1095 (double-boxed). Never had an issue (knock on wood).
