    Sub-mariner 1; 6.0; $295 Solid mid-grade copy. Everything can be seen in pics, note the small piece of tape in middle of back cover...looks like someone snagged a piece of tape and instead of risking a tape pull left it. Red distribution ink on top edge.

    Have a beater copy of bat171 for you fine folks. It has water damage (rippling/staining), rusty staples with migration, cover is detached from front but hanging onto back cover at both staples, some kind of color rub front cover, black marker on cover, cover split from bottom staple down, but complete with surprisingly nice colors. First silver age riddler. I’m calling this a 1.8. Last one sold for $270, I’m asking $200. Feel free to ask questions or request more pics.

    I use painters tape intentionally. Easier to pull off, more visible (we’ve all anxiously handled comics with an invisible piece of destruction hanging by a finger), and IF there IS a whoopsie there’s a reduced probability of tape pull.
