  1. I don’t think we can rule out the hulks based off that distant and photo...if you look at a some of the early hulks behind #1, you can see some edge wear... I mean, probably BS, but there’s a sliver of hope...this guy looks comparably “white” to me:
  2. There was a lot of speculation Shuri was going to become Iron Heart, and takeover the Iron Man mantle. If true, and that's a big if, it would require Marvel to make a huge strategy shift...
  3. Always cool to see a high grade DC key. Only seven 9.2's and six 9.4's...
  4. I was foolish enough to think when this thread started that I might be able to snag a BC1 on the cheap.
  5. I had the whole run up for sale on these very boards just a few months ago and it was crickets (all low grade). Market is feeling frothy as of late...
  6. By the time you get your books you should be squared up. I’ve never had to pay after the fact, and also don’t pay much attention to the packing slip (invoice?)...
  7. Thanks, I dig it too! Although I’ve been known to deviate from my plan, that’s all I have planned for this thread.
  8. House of Secrets #61 G $75 First appearance and origin of Eclipso. Partial spine split, wear on bottom front cover, cover crease, some water damage back cover.
  9. Blue Bolt v1 #5 (1940) G SOLD Tape on interior of cover & centerfold. Appears the purpose is to "fix" some splitting. Tanning around the edges of interior pages, but not brittle. Some dust shadows and foxing to front cover. Some writing on front and back cover, nice hand writing on front though :-). Looks great in mylar. Scarce book, only 8 on census, last sale was a 4.5 for $1680 a little over a year ago. Edited by David Adams. Cover by W. E. Rowland. Stories by Joe Simon, Jack Kirby, Al Avison, Al Gabriele, Bob Davis, Bill Everett, Harry Ramsey, Malcolm Kildale, Henry Kiefer, Jack A. Warren, Paul Gustavson, Bill O'Connor, Ben Flinton, and Leonard Sansone. Blue Bolt is in a war in the fourth dimension. Cole tangles with Phil Carp in Hollywood. Professor X succeeds in killing a patrolman who once put him in jail and now threatens the D.A. who prosecuted the case; Sub-Zero is called in. Sergeant Spook encounters Jesse James's ghost. Runaway Ronson battles Riker. The White Rider and Super Horse face off against Matt Hart. The Phantom Sub finds action in the Arctic Circle. 68 pages, full color.
  10. Was going to get these graded but figured I'd give you guys a shot at them first. John Malkovich's famous line from Rounders comes to mind: "Just like a young man coming in for a quickie. I feel so unsatisfied." 1.) First wins, period. 2.) Paypal, Checks, or Money Orders. 3.) Shipping is $10, regardless of how many you buy. US shipping only unless negotiated otherwise (which I'm open to, but let's chat first). 4.) I will accept returns for any reason. I must be notified of intent to return within one week from the day you receive the book. Unless I made a mistake, return shipping and PayPal fees are at buyer's expense. 5.) Nobody on naughty lists. I reserve the right to refuse business with anyone, for any reason. 6.) I have a kudos thread in my profile. I can also provide my eBay handle via PM if desired (100% feedback).
  11. So many people looking for a reason to be butthurt. I feel sorry for them...
  12. It's bronze, but the one that always bugs me is GL87. Hal's foot is almost ALWAYS cut off, and often times the "Beware My Power" blurb is trimmed as well...
  13. This has been said so many times that I hesitate to do so myself because it's become cliche, but...I can't help myself. If it came back an 8.0 would the buyer be sending the seller a check for the difference in value? I don't think so...
  14. The wrap on that 8.5, and the colors on your keeper!
  15. I’d much rather have your, I’m guessing, 9.4? Let’s see it...would be a treat.
  16. Full disclosure, I like this book...just a little.
  17. It’s been creeping up for awhile but having the last two sales (3.5’s) of $700 and $790 caught my attention.
