Thanks for the thoughtful response. I apologize if anything I said implied I think the hearing challenged aren’t smart, that thought never crossed my mind! My mind immediately went to my 5yr old who can’t read yet, and if she were in that situation, not sure how she could enjoy it? I guess the answer is it’s probably not age appropriate...but putting that aside, I’m curious (assuming no implant)? I suppose not being able to watch tv is probably a good thing, especially at that age. Like moths to a flame.

Only played an instagram raffle once, and it was because the book being offered wasn't available anywhere else...and hadn't been for quite some time. I hated myself from start to finish because I know math, but I was also foaming at the mouth for the book. Obviously I did not win...

I know what qualified represents... And what I was getting at, is that it very much depends on your collecting goals. Wasn’t speaking form an investment standpoint.

It happens. I’ve been disgruntled over a number of grades. Can’t win them all. Sometimes you can send it back for re-evaluation...

CGC hammers stains.

Books sent in this past summer seemed to be generously graded. Books submitted in the fall are coming back HARSHLY graded. Just in my experience... When did you submit?

Yes. Also interesting, I bought something with my eBucks once that the guy never shipped, I was forced to request a refund. The refund was CASH. I shouldn't advertise this, I could see scammers having a field day with it.
