    Happy for everyone who got in early, but cautioning those who are contemplating chasing these books... We’ve seen these run-ups enough to know they always cap out and then backtrack a little, or at best go stagnant. I suspect we’re nearing that point, so a little patience could yield a better entry point down the road. Regardless, nobody can argue they aren’t amazing books. I prefer #2 over #1 as well... This guy is starting to look like a deal, came out 3yrs later (1948 vs 1945). Colors aren’t quite as vibrant, but Cole was 100% having a flashback...

    For CL I just bid the highest I’m comfortable with in the last few seconds. If I win great, if I don’t then I didn’t overpay. I actually prefer not having a system egg me on to bid several increments more than I originally planned. Extended bidding is better for seller but not buyer, and CL’s hard ending is better for buyer but worse for seller. IMO...

    I know this isn’t a Doug kudos thread, but best dealer I’ve ever worked with...many happy transactions. Spot on grading, and have even done a no fuss return with him before... His website on the other hand

    It’s too busy. I applaud the initiative to evolve and compete with threats (gocollect). But, while somewhat antiquated, the old site was beautifully simplistic. Just planting the seed, I wouldn’t mind if gpa reverted back while they rework their design. And honestly if it isn’t broke, why fix it? If I were them I’d focus on gathering more data (comiclink comes to mind) before doing a GUI overhaul.

    I have no intent of nominating him for the probation list. I have not paid because payment info was never provided. I’m just OCD and want to close this so I can move on...but the rules don’t cover this unique situation, that I’m aware of anyways...

    I’m sorry to say I don’t like having this pending transaction looming over my head, wasting brain cells trying to remember it, and not knowing if I’m on the hook indefinitely to honor my claim. What’s the cutoff, 1 month, 3 months, a year? We’re currently at 1 month... I’m not upset at all and fear something unfortunate may have happened, but barring me breaking the rule that a is binding, I’d like to retract my take...unless the board thinks there isn’t a statute of limitations on takes?
