Look up “absolute cell references“. If you put a $ sign in front of the column reference it won’t change, but the row will...and vice versa. And if you want the cell(s)/range to be completely static, place $ signs in front of both the column and row references...and regardless of your drag or copy/paste action the cells will be locked. I believe it’s F4 that’s the shortcut key to toggle through the various absolute reference options when implementing...
