  1. Running out of bullets to keep the thread alive Must.....find.....more.....
  2. Today's entry. Perhaps Mac Raboy can generate a litte more
  3. My whips. Mabel, the sultry, very leggy ring master of Big Top Circus, cracks the whip on Lou Costello with William “Bud” Abbott looking on
  4. Bikes are back. Still finding some new ones, been stacking up in fact. Good news is the prices tend to be more reasonable. I'll post bit by bit to this thread to keep it alive.
  5. One of my top twenty covers, and yours is still nicer than mine Rick. I like seeing it in any condition.
  6. Ha Ha, my favorite Human Torch cover, in it all its grimy goodness, magnificent mildew and moldy magic. Thinking a conservation could britten it up a notch. No PGX holder for you! Along with the Cap #27 in my sig line, adding a Sub-Mariner #11 would round out a Timely Big 3 of my favs from each.
  7. Had been keeping an eye peeled for this one, finally snagged.
  8. Never been sure if this is a werewolf, vampire or zombie?
  9. I know this is off Romance topic, but since the door has been opened to other Baker fav covers and I like to show it off here is one of mine:
  10. I passed - it was in a lot of various incomplete books. There is also a coverless copy on eBay. Madame Strange looks pretty darn cool, thanks for that lead.
  11. Commandette http://goldenrage.blogspot.ca/2011/09/one-hit-wonder-women-commandette.html
  12. One shot superherione. Swear just happened past this - issue that contains it on HA this week and was checking out. Image is not my copy, but http://comicbookplus.com/
  13. Wow! All three of my three favorite things rolled into one! To quote the great Meat Loaf, two out of three ain't bad. Three out of three, well that's something else.
  14. Some "Super" inside panels with motorcycles dated February 1944 from my #26.
  15. Think this Stuntman cover was posted earlier, I found one in all its taped and re-stapled beauty on HA auction the other day.
  16. Looks great, but I don't have a clue. You've stumped me again. Any hints? Hi Luck, I'm afraid any further hints might lead to easy discover? Anyways, I spent about half my day yesterday researching what I could about her - so I can hardly contain myself from the big "reveal." Note I posted all her story pages and what I could find about Purple Tigress here: http://goodgirlcomics.com/purple-tigress-the-complete-works/
  17. Bonus Points to anyone who can introduce me to a Golden Age heroine/crime-fighter that I've never heard of. Here is another challenge Lady Luck (and to all). This super heroine does have her own full splash pages, only two appearances best I can tell.
  18. My copy of Blue Beetle #51. This is Jack Kamen cover art of “The Shady Lady.” Her story begins inside front cover where she is described as a “nocturnal bombshell” and a “dangerous doll who dates with death!” Nothing that Daily Record reporter Joan Mason (gal pal to Blue Beetle (aka Dan Garrett)) can't handle.
  19. That Suzie series is great (all deadly to a male) and that cover is my second fav - I like this one just slightly better.
