  1. The term mini and ongoing is just a word change that could happen at any time.
  2. I would even love some misdirection as well. To saying nothing of how it infuriate some.
  3. Peter Panzerfaust +1 Um No. I have read both. Its not even close. That book has its own thread. Leave it there.
  4. What I like about this book the most is I have to read it a couple of times to take everything in. How many other books out there can claim that?
  5. Exactly its the goofiness that I enjoyed. This book just struck me as fun. Its weird, sometimes creepy, but I think there might be a message in there from Todd somewhere. I think we all cheer for a lovable loser. I feel like he is Charlie Brown missing the football over and over again in the first issue made me chuckle several times.
  6. Some boardies recommended this book. I didnt see a thread looking back 6 pages. If there is one I will delete this. This book was a breath of fresh air. I really like the main character and the way the story is heading. I dont want to see Todd under his bag for awhile either. What I find odd is I dont care for the art in the book entirely, but I like they way they draw Todd if that makes sense. It reminds me of Charlie Brown or any other character who just cant win for losing. I think this book might be something special if its gets a chance. Thoughts?
  7. Ah and the Kitty/Peter romance. Secret wars pissed me off. I was a teenager at the time how dare they make Peter two time her.
  8. Seems our boards reach is getting alot longer.
  9. Sixth Gun 1 consistently hitting $50 and climbing raw now.
  10. I love Bedlam as much as the next guy (purely as a reader), but this is one reason this thread is absolute comedy gold. Only on the Modern forums can a title go from more or less dead in terms of activity to "best graphic novel of 2013" inside 1 issue (for a total of 3). I understand a lot of people are involved financially to some level, but it's getting a little ludicrous at this point. I enjoyed #3 too, but I am not sure hyperbole would adequately cover this... The problem is, there are those that love the book for what it is and those that love it for it speculation potential. It simply leads to a conflict in hyperbole. You know you bring up a point that is a problem in almost every modern thread here almost. In some cases its easy to see who has a financial interest in pushing their book or books while in other threads its not so clear.
  11. Secret left me jaded on Hickman. One more like that and I cross him off. I did enjoy his FF run.
  12. Insanity... You need a new word. That is nuts though. Pick one: mental illness; foolishness, aberration, absurdity, alienation, craziness, delirium, delusion, dementia, derangement, distraction, dotage, folly, frenzy, hallucination, hysteria, illusion, inanity, irrationality, irresponsibility, lunacy, madness, mania, mental disorder, neurosis, phobia, preposterousness, psychopathy, psychosis, senselessness, unbalance, unreasonableness, witlessness I agree
  13. You will have to go Ebay I think. Most don't want to break their sets up and I don't think many focused on buying a lot of 2 1st prints
  14. Not a flood when many are BIN hits. Means demand outweighs supply.
  15. Jericho is season 3 sales are climbing again as the 4th season comes into print. Season 3 is getting popular again saleswise. Sets sell extremely well.
  16. I'm not sure I agree, the FCBD issues and issue 1 are hot, other issues don't seem to be going for that much. Im not sure how otherwise I can make you believe other then to look at ended auctions yourself. I could qoute you a bunch of auctions, but its too much work.
  17. Seeing and selling are two different things. Dealers sometimes are just clueless. I mean I know the book is doing well, but that's just stupid.
  18. Sixth gun has just exploded the last few days. I only thought issue 1 would go up. Looks like the first few issues are all going to increase.
  19. What was the print run? I would have thought it to be fairly large. You know you could be right I didnt checked. I just assumed being from Dark Horse and losing the license it wouldnt be as high as normal.
  20. What about THIS ONE? I think the appropriate response is What about the Darkness Saga in LOSH? Was this mentioned yet? Look toward what happen to early Thanos appearances. It will increase in value, but it isnt the storyline for the movie so it wont get huge. All that saying I can never turn down a NM copy of the Darkness Saga never I just dont find one much.
  21. I can see why Star Wars 1 is a winner for Dark Horse. I read a newstand copy today. Its well written, low print run, good art, HUGE fan base lying dormant, and new movie coming out. All a nice combination for a hit.
  22. The art in Hawkeye isnt very good, but its written so well that it doesnt detract a whole lot. What kills me on some books PP including is when the art is so unappealing to me that it distracts me from reading the story. Now one of these days I will learn that my taste doesnt reflect the market overall. Same mistake I made with Chew even though I still dont like the book.
  23. Actually this lot will go for over $100 probably. Its a 1-4 set + Third Eye variant.
